I've been doing a lot of knitting recently. I'm on a roll!
Yes, weasley two is blue. Surprise, surprise. When B saw the back all laid out for the picture, he said, "where da 'H'?" They like the "H"! Thank God for small favors.

What lucky little boys! The yarns compliment the simple style of the sweater. Another winner, Alison!
I love them!! Sigh, mine is being neglected right now. I will take it with me on a long drive tomorrow....
aren't you going to do one H and one R?
That is a clever idea Carolyn. But I worry that people won't really recognize that they are supposed to be Harry Potter sweaters and then it would be weird that the "R" doesn't match anyone's name. Our last name starts with "H", so I thought that would at least make sense in a non-HP context.
I'm loving this HP pattern and the Felted Tweed so much though that there might be an "R" in my future. I'm waiting to see how Jenn's comes sweater comes out and looks on her.
very cute!
makes me want to learn intarsia
adorable sweater, where is the pattern?? oh oh! I could make it for my newphew!! oh oh!
Oh, you're lucky you can justify the "H" -- when I asked my godson he said he wanted an "H" (and of course, his sister wants what he wants)...his mom says he'll change his mind every week...aiiighhh!
So, I figure, since I'm duplicate stitching the letters on - I'll see where the kids' heads are at when they're ready!
The Weasleys are looking great! Oh, and those Halloween pix of the boys are adorable.
When you have an extra minute (ya, right!) I'd like to ask your opinion about a Phildar pattern. Email me when you have a sec.
TIA!
Are you still yarn crawling with us tomorrow?? Email me when you want to meet and where and we'll be there! I'll check my email last at about 11am!! Hope to hear from you!!
I love those sweaters. The H does look great along with the color combo.
looks great. i've got to try intarsia again and give dup stich a try too. don't know which one you are doing, but i do know that h looks perfect!
Thanks, Froggy. I'm doing intarsia. I almost chickened out and went with duplicate stitch, but Michelle reminded me that "intarsia is my friend". :)
