Posted by: Amy Lu at November 29, 2004 10:33 AM

Ah perfect! I've been hoping to make socks as soon as the holiday is over, so this would be perfect! I've heard amazing things about the yarn =)

i'd like to win! i never win anything!

Posted by: rachel m at November 29, 2004 10:33 AM

Great colors. My lys only carries pastels in this yarn. It would make wild baby things!

Posted by: PJ at November 29, 2004 10:39 AM

This is a fantastic idea! I love your blog and read it every morning with my tea. Beautiful colors! It would be great to make socks for myself. The last time I attempted that, the yarn wasn't overly inspiring and I only made one! Maybe your raffle will change that :-)

Posted by: Adie at November 29, 2004 11:04 AM

socks . . . the next frontier (maybe). . . not sure about those itty bitty needles! Great colors, though; would be a cool incentive.

Posted by: Diana at November 29, 2004 11:05 AM

Summer socks, yum!

Posted by: Brynne at November 29, 2004 11:10 AM

These colours are so fantastic! I'm trying to put together a Christmas Yarn package for a friend in the Arctic and these would be fabulous in there! Fingers crossed and eye-closed wishing!

Posted by: Michele at November 29, 2004 11:10 AM

thanks so much for your generosity.

Posted by: maryse at November 29, 2004 11:17 AM

Posted by: Spring at November 29, 2004 12:54 PM

I'm just starting sock knitting. It's addictive! Some new yarn would be delicious.

Posted by: katie at November 29, 2004 1:02 PM

I would make my first two pairs of socks. 1 for me and 1 for the baby on the way.

Posted by: Emily at November 29, 2004 1:05 PM

Another who is fixated on Cascade Fixation! :) What a fun idea, Alison!

Posted by: sUsAn at November 29, 2004 1:11 PM

I've got just the ice cream cozy pattern that would be perfect!

Posted by: Dawnya at November 29, 2004 1:16 PM

Hmmm...socks are fun too, and I can use 3's with fixation instead of the 1's I've knit the last 4 pairs on. Small feet only take one ball for 2 pairs.

Posted by: Melissa G at November 29, 2004 1:26 PM

I love me some stripey socks!

Posted by: Jenika at November 29, 2004 1:41 PM

People keep telling me I need to love sock knitting. Salmon might just do it for me!

Posted by: Norma at November 29, 2004 11:08 PM

I have been on a sock making binge lately! Love them!!! I swear, they're nothing short of mathematical genius, and I'm dying to try the short row toe. Since realizing that I'm condemned to wear socks for the rest of my quasi-professional life (to cover up the tattoo from my wild youth) I've become determined to make some pretty wild looking socks. Just the rebel in me, I guess. What a fun thing this is -- thanks Alison!

Posted by: Meredith at November 30, 2004 1:57 AM

Baby it's cold outside and I need socks to wear with my Birks

Posted by: Jackie at November 30, 2004 6:37 AM
