wednesday morning is "wait, more knitalong stuff" morning
A couple of things from the comments yesterday that deserve repeating here.
First, sockapalooza sockers, Jenny is having a little contest over at her blog and the prize is.... SOCK YARN. Go now!
Second, weasley-alongers, Laurie wrote: "So there I was on a plane from Denver to Boston. We upgraded to 1st class with miles, since it is so hard to get a free ticket. In row #1, was a man, probably mid-30s, alone with a young child, probably about 18 mos old, blonde. WEARING A WEASLEY. Who was it?" Any chance the knitter of the weasley Laurie spotted was one of us??
Okay, now on to Wednesday.

Perhaps you should sell your less than favotite sweaters. Elizabeth is much too pretty and fine to rip.
Hey Alison-if any of your Weasley along knitters would like to rid themselves of the Rowan pattern when finished, I would be HAPPY to take it off their hands for yarn or $$.
The Weasley's are just beautiful! My LYS had 1 copy left of the Rowan pattern and I picked it up Monday. My little ones want Weaslsy's and now I can knit them each one. :)
I often wonder what happens to knits after their triumphant I'm-Finished debut... do you wear them, does the yarn hold up, how are you caring for them, how do they fit into your wardrobe, etc. It would be very neat to see people do a sort of fashion show with their past knits, explaining all of the above. This isn't quite a fashion show, but it'll be fascinating to see people confess to their knitting "mistakes". I'm not participating because I don't have that much of a knitting past, but I look forward to watching those who do. ;)
Hey Alison, thanks for the shout out and sending people over! It's good karma to send sock yarn all around, I say. ;-)
I'll post this weekend about my fixin' up february knittin'.
hey, what about the fact you said you'd suggest to 'paloozers that they should get an anon email to email their 'paloozee with :)
Oh, Jennifer beat me to it! Just stumbled on this pattern and your knit-along this week, and am now itching to knit the sweater for my young Harry Potter fanatics. If anyone is done with the pattern and wants to part with it, I'd be happy to give them an offer ....
