my big fat day off

They say that an apple a day keeps the doctor away, so I'm out today on a mommy's day off - yes, the whole day to do whatever I want(!), courtesy of my wonderful husband - to eat a year's worth of apples. See ya tomorrow.

I am so jealous of you - what I wouldn't give for a day like that. Enjoy. You deserve it.

Just curious, but does a day off like that include a few hours of wandering around a LYS? Sounds like heaven! Enjoy your day off!

So what does one do on Mommy's Day Off? I'm sure you've earned it, whatever you decide to do. Have a great day!

oh mama's day off is wonderful (I get one occaisionally) My other half offered one to me last weekend but I bowed out and took one kidlet with me.
Hope you enjoyed your day Alison!

Good for you (and David!) -- hope you enjoyed it!

Glad you got your day off. Sounds like you have been getting tired out (your previous post). I am just getting over the flu (UGH!) but I did manage to rip out my Klaralund for the fix-it up! I am still searching through my boxes for the baby sweater I started that will be perfect for the Ron-along. I will absolutely SCREAM if I get down to the last box and still haven't found it. But there is also an in-progress hat missing, and I KNOW I wouldn't have gotten rid of that....so I am still holding out hope.

Have a great day off!

And may I join "The fix is in!"? I am fixing a sweater I just finished - does that count?
