What a beautiful pattern!
I think you must be glad to be done with all that intarsia designing! It looks great - and you've obviously put a ton of work into it.

Congrats.

yessirree...perfect fit and very cool...you did a great job keeping this project top secret...

Posted by: lisa b at February 28, 2005 9:12 AM

Ohhhh, that's adorable! And thanks for the heads-up that the new MagKnits is out, too.

Posted by: chris at February 28, 2005 9:24 AM

The t-shirt is so great! I'll really look forward to making your pattern! What a great idea. And the January sweater looks great too. Man, you've been busy!

Posted by: Gina at February 28, 2005 9:40 AM

No wonder you're drooling over my Calmer! Looks great! Thanks for the hard work.

Posted by: Cara at February 28, 2005 9:45 AM

You have OUTDONE yourself this time. So simple, so wearable, so fitted. FABULOUS! I'll make one for me, then one for my sister, and my mom.......I love your design! Who wants to host the KAL?

Posted by: suzanne at February 28, 2005 9:46 AM

Fab pattern. Now off to find some calmer.

Posted by: Steph at February 28, 2005 9:58 AM

Oh no! I was trying fo find a project for my Calmer for almost a year and, guess what, started it 2 days ago. As I only have 7 1/2 balls I am going for a short-sleeve-something I am making up myself (and I am not very good at this). Now I think I should have waited a couple of days and made this! Sigh ...

Posted by: Julia at February 28, 2005 9:59 AM

Bravo! Great fit. Everyone will have to have one of these.

Posted by: Julia at February 28, 2005 10:04 AM

Wow, thats terrific. Exactly what I'm looking for.

What a great pattern! A definate knit -- I'm in the middle of swatching some Calmer and absolutely love the yarn. We need a knit along for this one -- I'd love to see the word each knitter chooses for her tee! Thanks for all your wonderful knitting, besides being inspiring, your blog is a fun daily stop!

Posted by: nona at February 28, 2005 10:59 AM

Now you're a designer (congrats) besides being a speedy and talented knitter!!! Keep designing pls!

Posted by: leslie at February 28, 2005 1:38 PM

I love it, I love it!! I just yesterday I was about to buy some Calmer, but I was bummed because I couldn't find a pattern I liked to go with it. I really just wanted something simple and elegant. Thank you for giving me just that! Your the best!

Posted by: Rebekah at February 28, 2005 2:05 PM

Aw, that is SO cute! I've been thinking of fun things I could knit on the front all morning. But (grits teeth) must finish Sockapalooza sock first :-)

Posted by: erika at February 28, 2005 2:25 PM

What a great pattern! Can you please give some tips about ease, and what size to choose? I am for sure going to make this, with my name on the front.

Posted by: Jen M at February 28, 2005 3:34 PM

Oh my Gosh, it's perfect!!! Great job!

Posted by: patti at February 28, 2005 3:44 PM

Alison it's gorgeous! Really. Just gorgeous.

You ARE talented. Wow. Just to think about packing all those different designs into the one basic T-Shirt. Congratulations to a great mind.

Posted by: Grauwal at February 28, 2005 5:19 PM

What a great pattern! I really like how you included all the different ideas for graphic designs.

Posted by: kelli at February 28, 2005 6:42 PM

It's beautiful! I've always been amazed at your handiwork and at how you are able to finish so many projects. But, now that I'm a mom, I am utterly stunned and amazed. How do you do it?

Posted by: Stacy at February 28, 2005 8:09 PM

What an utterly wonderful pattern! It's so simple (in appearance) -- why has no one done this before? Thank you for being the one to bring the lovely tee to a more sophisticated level.

Posted by: Gina at February 28, 2005 8:39 PM

I love your designs and I can't wait to get some Calmer for this one! I knit your Leftovers vest just recently and wear it all the time. Looks like this one is going to be a winner, too. Knitalong anyone, anyone??!!!

Posted by: kellyt at February 28, 2005 8:41 PM

By the way, what size did you knit? I think we are about the same size...

Posted by: kellyt at February 28, 2005 8:41 PM

That is fr*gg*n awesome! (sorry about my French there). I get excited about the deceptivly obvious or/and simple, but you do it so amazingly. I usually hate it when in Lucky magazine they say something was reinvented with a new twist. But now I get it: you did it and it's fabulous.

Posted by: valentina at February 28, 2005 8:53 PM

I love it! What a great t-shirt! Also, a question about your January sweater - does it always stay nice and in place, or do the flaps ever flip down? Just wondering...I have the same issue from Phildar and have also eyed that pretty sweater!

Posted by: Anne-Caroline at February 28, 2005 8:53 PM

I absolutely love it -- it looks sexy and feminine and classic. Well done -- i can hardly wait to make it.

Posted by: alison a. at February 28, 2005 9:36 PM

Puleeze! 'nothin' but a t-shirt?' you're way too modest! I'm always on the hunt for a t-shirt that fits nicely, is stylish and in colors that the gap, banana rep and others just don't seem to carry.
Will definitely be looking for Calmer once I finish my Feb Fix. Thanks!

Posted by: Rae at February 28, 2005 9:52 PM

Another great design! I totally forgot that the new one was coming out, thanks for the heads up :)

Posted by: Vicki at March 1, 2005 12:10 AM

SO CUTE. I needed a reason to buy more calmer. ;-)

Posted by: Jenny at March 1, 2005 12:12 AM

I just LOVE your t-shirt! I'm definitely going to make one of my own.

Posted by: Carina at March 1, 2005 2:00 AM

Oh my god, you are so freakin' cute!

Posted by: Frankie at March 1, 2005 4:59 AM

Sweater looks great and terrific pics of you...lovely in Calmer.

Posted by: Kathleen at March 1, 2005 7:29 AM

Makin' it!

Posted by: Dava at March 1, 2005 9:20 AM

How did you know I was looking for a good t-shirt pattern? That's very cute and I love the ringer tee design and multiple graphs! Thanks!

Posted by: Elizabeth at March 1, 2005 10:57 AM

What's that? That is darn cute. That is what it is!

Posted by: Anita at March 2, 2005 12:01 AM
