the blue blog archives: forget martha

Brett Somers began this show by mentioning that she gets lots of fan mail from women wanting to know where they can find the pattern for this poncho that she often wore. (Sound familiar?) She was sorry to say that no, she doesn't knit and she has no idea if there is a pattern anywhere for it. Lion Brand? Herrshners?

Hi, I've been reading your blog for a few weeks now. I love it. Is this the old Match Game? Are you watching reruns. I remember watching this show when I was a kids. Wasn't it on during prime time back in the day?

I love that you make entries about Match Game Alison :) Whenever we go to my gram's house for a weekend, my DH and gram both sit up at night and watch GSN (Game Show Network for those of you not in the know :) Match Game cracks me up!
I also do NOT understand the Martha poncho craze...seriously. Then again I'm not exactly a fan of ponchos anyway!

Ah, Match Game. Don't we all have fond memories of Match Game? I'm afraid to tune in as it will become an obsession. My GF is already annoyed with the fact that I watch Jeopardy [maybe cuz I know more answers that her...hee hee hee]

The word LOVE is such an understatement for the package containing the lovely Alison Socks today! LOVELOVELOVE! Thank you so much, Alison. I will treasure them! :) You are such a generous person!

When I saw the socks wrapped in the package and the note saying NOT TOO FAR TO GO, I almost left a comment that said, "Please be ME!" haha! And it IS!
I will post about them tomorrow morning.
