nothing but a sleeve

Number one done.

Number two to do.

So, what do you think of the contrast color? I didn't pick it out myself. The yarn for the store model was picked out by powers higher than me. I think the burgundy looks good when the main color is looking blue-ish. But in it's more lilac moments, I'm not quite so sure.

I still like it. You know. Anything to cut down the blue.

Ha, ha, Claudia! Calmer doesn't come in orange, does it? ;0)

I think a medium green would look better (I really like the main color).

Actually, I think the colors look pretty good together. I wouldn't have thought to put them together but they work well.

Ooooh, green, I love it! My high school colors were blue and green and they ended up being my favorite colors (together too!) for a long time.

If my NBaT class goes (gotta make sure that enough people sign up), then I'll have the pleasure of picking out colors for another tee for me. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy!

I love it! Very nice contrast.

Those are the same colours as an England football (soccer) team called West Ham! It just made me giggle!

It's all the rage in retro ringer tees!

I like the contrast color - it's not something I would have necessarily put together, but the more I look at it, the more I like it. Do you mind me asking how many of these you are making? It seems like before long, you will have all the possible combinations...

I love light blue and burgandy. So pretty. Not so sure about the lilac either though. I'm sure it'll look great :)

I agree with the above poster that it looks good, but isn't something I would have put together myself.

I agree, I would have never put these two colors together. The owner of my LYS is really good with color though; she's always putting things together that I would never think of and they look fabulous. So I'm trusting her on this one. It does remind me of Old Navy ringer tees actually!

Christina, I made two tees for MagKnits (plus several half-fronts for the various designs), but I donated the pink MagKnits tee to Kerrie, the editor. So this will be my third t-shirt, but since it's a store model, I won't be keeping it either. If I do the class, I'll make a fourth, which will be only the second one in my closet.

I think that the colors are great together as long as you'll wear it! The heck with what everyone else thinks.

This pattern is on my list of "Have to do's".

I think the colors work well together, at least in those photos. I'm a color chicken and never would have thought to put those two together. I need higher powers to force me to be bolder in my color choices. :-/

It's gonna be cute! It's good to shake it up a little.

alison- I have the yarn for my very own nothing but a tee tee...but want to make it one size larger than the pattern lists...am I right in thinking I could just increase the cast on stitches by 4? -Carla
