nbat and all that

After some very late-night seaming, my model nothing but a t-shirt is all finished and already in the window of the store.

we finally get some sun and it ruins my shot!
here's an indoor pic.

I really enjoyed making this pattern again and the Calmer was just as incredible as I remembered. I would have loved to do a little design on the front, but the owner wanted a plain front. Still, even plain, I love these colors together! I don't know how I could ever have doubted how great they'd look together.

So, now that I've made this pattern again and have it fresh in my mind, I thought I'd open the comments here to pattern questions. One question I can answer regards how many straight rows should be knitted between the waist decreases and bust increases. The way the pattern is written, it seems to call for a total of 31 or 32 total straight rows. I checked the original shirt I made and I knit 24 straight rows between the decreases. I'll send the correction over to MagKnits.

Other questions? Shoot!

A little sun never hurt anyone (not true but it's just a saying) and the colors of the T glow thru it all. It looks beautiful in that window!

So cute!

I think the east coast stole our sun. We're all slightly relieved and slightly bummed out. Well, maybe I'm more bummed out because I've been trapped at my desk, working. :)

I am glad you have sun, even if it did spoil your picture. I just love this pattern Alison, so cute.

24 instead of 32? that explains why some were saying that they were getting a longer t-shirt. I re-did all my math because I had a complete different gauge wi th my yarn. I really loved the pattern, so much that I am toying with the idea of making a second one ......

Those are great colours together, of course I have to say that as they are West Ham football colours and today is the big big promotion match for them so we're all about West Ham here today. I'll upload those changes to the pattern later on today..

Looks great! Okay, I have some questions. I am seaming right now, and my neckband is flaring out. I am hoping some blocking will rectify this? Also, has anyone tried throwing th whole thing in the dryer? I think I'm too scared to try that ...
