The sockapalooza was by far most work and most fun I've ever had with a knitalong. And what a huge success! With over 150 participants, there was a large chance of failure. But we only had about 6 folks not finish and dozens of generous knitters offered to donate yarn and socks to those pals who were forgotten. Thank you so much to everyone who participated and offered to donate!
Did someone yell "encore"?? See ya this summer for the summersock tour! (Sign-up coming soon.)

I JUST started practicing yesterday. Rehearsals have begun! Thank you, thank you!
Thanks for organizing it! I had lots of fun. :)
This time it will go better....
If only I can figure out how to not make holes when I turn the heel.
Can't wait for the next round. It is amazing there were so few problems. I'm starting to think of what yarn and pattern to use. My pal will just have to live with a bit of a hole on one side of the heel turn, I can't get rid of them!
I'm hoping to join the next round since I've just done my first pair of socks!
It has really been fun seeing all the socks travel around the world. :) I'll definitely want to join the next round too!
my lord you are brave, many many thanks for putting on the first one,it was a howdy good time!
I'm sure I'll be up for it. I'm about to knit myself a pair :)
YAY!! Sockapal-2-zer!! I am so there, again! Last time was so fun! Thanks for doing this again Alison!! You're button's on my blog, raring to go :)
I am SO in too! :) This time I am armed with a nice selection of sock books to choose patterns from (and a nice little sock yarn stash too!)
Wow! So many sock knitters... who knew! Awesome job for organizing all of that.. I will definitely be involved in a summer tour :)
I'm exhausted just looking at that list of names. You are a knitalong superhero.
I LOVED the original and I cannot wait for the sequel, much less the sign up! Anybody want cashmere lace?
I'm in :). Been waiting for a new sockalong to come along...
:)
