blue jeans and booboos

And that's what little boys are made of.

wanna see the big picture?

Baby denim jacket all done! Soon this cute little guy will be on his way to the cute little guy he was made for. But wait, hold your "awwww's" until the end, please.

Look, it's twin booboos. Double awwwww.....

(As always, for pattern info, you can check the project's page in the "finished projects" gallery or the project archive page.)

Very cute denim project!

But what about those adorable Peter Rabbit buttons?? What are you going to use those for? I have a set in my stash too, just waiting for the perfect project...

And guess what - I'm knit-stalking you again! This time it's the one skein wonder.

The sweater is truly a keepsake (the sleeves fit perfectly -- all your hard work reworking them paid off).

Are those SpongeBob band-aids?

Posted by: Dava at June 29, 2005 9:27 AM

The jacket is very cute!

I love the twin pictures. Are the booboos really identical, or did you have to give them both bandaids, so there was no booboo jealousy? Also, are they identical or fraternal? It's so hard to tell, as they always seem to have completely different expressions on their faces in the pictures.

awwwws all around for the twins and also the cute cute denim jacket.

I was going to ask the same question Rebekkah did, lol!

They are Blue's Clues bandages, Dava. ;0)

Rebekkah, they are identical (the boys and the booboos). They just happened to get booboos on the exact same spot over the weekend. I didn't even notice it until we had to do bandage replacement after a bath and suddenly the boys lifted up their arms simultaneously and I saw that it was the same place on the same arm!

The boys have different 'picture smiles' that they seem to be perfecting. B is all about showing as much gum as possible and S likes to do a little overbite thing. It's very strange, but it sure helps pick out who's who!

Quadruple awwww!

so you made the sleeves behave huh? Nicely done--it looks really great!!

Haha, at first when I read "booboos" I thought it said "boobs." I was confused, but now I get it! cute sweater, cute boys. ~Ali in Mexico

The jacket looks great, all that washed denim goodness. Now how did those cuties end up with a booboo in the same place? However, they definitely deserve a double "awwww" :)

Yep...those boys are absolutely adorable!!!

Funny about twin boo boos. My twin brothers got identical boo boos all their lives - scars on the head, scars on the knees. The most spectacular demonstration of twin-ness was when they each got into motorcycle accidents three days apart (they were born 3 minutes apart). (They're fine.) Let's hope your boys stick to more mundane ways of showing they're twins.

I love that jacket! How beautiful! Awww..... I am seeing two! They are so cute... :)

Have a happy 4th of July weekend!
