I spent all my Sockapal-2-za blog reading time last week finishing those 57,000 stitches on the Harry Potter scarf! So this week's update includes only those updates that you all alerted me to.* If you've also made some progress, let us know about it in the comments!

The moral of this story: until next week, you will receive 350 emails Alison!
Btw, how are your socks going?
I cast on for the first sock, will post pics as soon as I have something worthy of showing.
Hi Alison,
Love the Harry Potter Window. I've been reading the last two over again so I'm prepared when mine arrives.
I finished the first of my socks last night.
I've started several sockpal socks, but I'm still undecided and need to get my s--- together. I do love reading about everyone else's progress and selections...this is such fun. Thank you again for coordinating..Take care :)
I will have a sockpaltwoza update next week, as I just finished a pair of socks that I'd started prior to joining the sock pal kal. I would like to finish up a couple more things before starting up a new project. Thanks.
i have a sock pal update on my blog. i'm trying to finish a few things and will be starting over the weekend. thanks for putting this all together!
I have one sock pal sock done. It's on my blog.
oh man! i'm feeling the pressure!! i sure hope the yarn i ordered arrives soon!! in the meantime, i'm making a trial run of the pattern i chose in some bernat sox yarn. oh, thank you thank you for your links on the side. i was checking them out yesterday and they were really useful to me :)
This is awesome. I'm over my hump and have picked out the pattern and the yarn...swatching begins today!
I got my socks started! Pic on my blog on July something.. lol Heck I cant remember I think it was yesterday!
my socks for my pal are growing slowly but steadily! see them here - http://coriknits.blogspot.com/
Hi, Alison. Everyone's socks look great! I'm blogless, so here's the scoop:
I picked up my sock pal's yarn while on vacation last week (Jimmy Bean's Wool, in Truckee, CA). I chose Rowan's Cashcotton 4-ply and am using a simple cable rib pattern (after frogging several other stitch patterns). I'm about 1/3 done on the first sock. I'll try to get a photo to you. Thanks!
I'm done! I just got my photos up on my blog.
Oh I love reading all the sock updates! I've posted my own update on my blog yesterday.
Hi Alison - ooo fun to hear what everyone else is doing! I have finally had time to start swatching with some yummy burnt orange merino, trying to find just the right lacey cable for some toe-up socks I'm designing for my pal. Hope to post photos later in the week!
I am in need of feedback on my sock pal socks. I love the yarn, but am not sure about the pattern. Check out my progress at http://joe.english.purdue.edu/wordpress/?p=223 ...please! :-)
Since Harry Potter is re-surfacing, do you think there will be a Weasley Sweater pattern around again for those of us who want to be in the Weasley along? I have hesitated to start my son's because I am not sure about the size of the chart and all that. I'm new at this!!
I am knitting Columbine Peak from the Socks Soar on two circular needles book by Cat Bordi. I love knitting socks this way. I also started a blog since I signed up for the Sockapal-2-za. It's called The Tangled Web.Typepad.com. I will post some pictures in the next day or two.
Wow! Other people's browsers are doing funny things to my socks. You are the second person to think they are pink and black. Actually, they're red and black. It's red Cascade Fixation, which is a bit muted and has kind of a brick color to it. Very nice color, but not pink.
I love seeing all the socks everyone is making! And speaking of socks, mine are done, and pictured on my blog!
Another sock update for me! Hopefully I'll be done with them next week. :-D
