... a visit to the crap store.
Me and the boys had a blast the other day visiting the crap store (nothing against A.C. Moore, it's really just the way the boys say "craft store", remember?). They LOOOOVE the fun fur.
And the $2.00 bracelets.
And that's an Oompa Loompa doll that S has hanging off his shirt. He got it in his kid's meal at Wendy's and wore it the whole day.
Oh yes, we loves us the crap.

fantastic fiber voyage
I remember when you posted your boys urging you to go to the "crap" store -- it's wonderful that
they find an adventure from going to the local craft store!!
I wish so much to have THAT particular crap store here in California.
i wanna go to the crap store! it looks like sooo much fun!
ompa lompa LOL
i personally liked the 1st movie better....oh well i guess i'm old school LOL
have a great day!
I. too, love going to the crap store. Quite often it feels more like a "crap" store than a "craft" store.
Our use of the word crap is to indicate the park! lol! ;) We don't have the chance to live by craft stores, might be a good thing, I bet the kids love it in there. :)
A friend asked me once if I wanted to go to the "Farts and Crap" show. I had absolutely no idea what she was talking about at first. Once I did, I laughed till I peed my pants. I guess I should have known she had kids. lol Deep down you know they have the answers to the questions of the universe. Cutie patooties!
i'd love to try fun fur one day. what is it like to knit. I'd like to make anklete socks with a fun fur edge =)
also, if you see "how clean is your house" I just love the rubber gloves that Kim and Aggie use with fur decor...makes cleaning all that more fun =)
LOL, my kids love the "crap" store too, specifically AC Moore, for the 2.00 bracelets, but most importantly, the little display all AC Moore stores have of the various plastic animals. I swear you could give my kids the most expensive video game console thingie, and a plastic animal. Nine times out of ten, they reach for the plastic animals!
And the Thomas aisle gets high marks too!
Just curious, are your boys twins? How old are they? We have twin boys and I'm always curious to find others with such a blessing! Ours are 3 1/2...
I spy kitties on the twins tanks! Who are the kitties?
"Farts and Crap" - I love it!
Orli, I've never used Fun Fur before. But I've been toying with the idea of making something for the boys out of it, since they get such a kick out of it. Don't have any idea what though.
Lynn, the boys t-shirts are from a boutique in Brooklyn called Otto. (It's on 10th St. between 7th and 8th Aves.) That's their logo and name on the front.
