What do you make if you want a Harry Potter scarf, but don't want to buy 1000 yards of yarn or knit 57,000 stitches? Just make a skinny hip one and tie it around your waist!
And what do you do if you just want to try out a couple of colors of a special, silky yarn? Make a silk tie, that's what! I think I'm gonna try the next one in Elsebeth Lavold's Silky Wool. Mmmmmm....

Those patterns are cute! Thanks, Alison!!!
Thanks very much, the new pattern look great. I specially like the idea with the tie, but fear that I´m not brave enough to wear it...

patterns for everybody ! You're such a doll !
i love them !
Those are adorable. I can just see Hermione wearing them as a dash of House solidarity while she's wearing her Muggle clothes.
Is there a start date for the knitalong?? I'd suggest right AFTER the sockapal2za shipping date, so that we don't forget about our socks...
Awesome! I've been looking for a belt pattern like that. Thanks Alison!
ADORABLE! :-)
Hmmmmm....what to knit, what to knit ...
Aren't you clever -- now the question is how on earth do you knit these items up so quickly? Pls share your secret!!
Wonderful. I cannot wait to make the skinny HP scarf. Thank you so much for two more awesome patterns.
Unfortunately I'm not much a belt person. Those are so cute though!

Oh, those rock! I love them. (and I laughed out loud at Jenn's Hermione comment--that's spot on!)
Now how do I get your figure so the belt will look good on me??!! Ohhh... forget it. I'll just have to make it for my daughter. :)
