three weasleys

Here we are: the three weasleys! (So, if I'm Ginny Weasley in my ginger weasley, does that make the boys Fred and George? They're my favorite characters in the books anyway!) Look what the boys wanted to wear for the first picture. Mama weasley couldn't be more proud.

I'm off to the movie tonight! I've checked out all the sneak movie clips on Mugglenet and am ready to see it for myself. Hooray!

We saw it last night at the midnight showing. You won't be disappointed!

Have fun!

Those Weasley sweaters are awfully cute and so are the boys as usual! Enjoy HP.

Posted by: Wanda at November 18, 2005 12:16 PM

You do great work there--shoulders and armskye look perfect. I too am glad that just because Fred and George are not at Hogwarts they are still "in the picture." Enjoy!

Those are awesome, awesome sweaters!

Posted by: Lily at November 18, 2005 12:48 PM

Jealous of the sweaters, jealous of you getting to see the movie tonight. But very happy for you!

Posted by: Sneaksleep at November 18, 2005 12:51 PM

Awesome sweaters! You'll enjoy the movie...I saw a sneak preview on Monday!

Posted by: Karen at November 18, 2005 1:01 PM

Adorable! All three of you. The Princess will be in her scarf when we go to the movie this afternoon, since I didn't get into this idea in time to do a sweater before the movie, but at least we received our Felted Tweed via UPS yesterday. Onward to Christmas!

Posted by: Songbird at November 18, 2005 1:21 PM

YOur sweaters are beautiful, and so are your boys!

Have fun at the movie. I will have to wait until it is out on DVD. We don't have a theater here...even if we did, I can't remember when I last went to a movie!

Cute, cute, cute! I love the Weasley sweaters and your boys are absolutely adorable :-) Have fun at the movie!

Posted by: lyn at November 18, 2005 1:58 PM

I made it! I both finished my Azkaban scarf AND my Hatmione (pictures tonight when we're dressed up for the premiere, we didn't get a midnight showing), and I'm going to finish Sean's Quidditch robes as we speak.

Posted by: Karlie at November 18, 2005 2:01 PM

They're wonderful, Alison! You'll steal the show...

Posted by: Vicki at November 18, 2005 2:02 PM

The sweaters are awesome...and the boys are lucky to have such a talented mom! You'll be the envy of all the HP fans.

Posted by: Leslie at November 18, 2005 2:13 PM

Aren't you and your guys the cutest things ever! Have fun at the movies. But I hear the last 30 minutes is pretty scary.

The three of you look great in your matching sweaters! The boys are overjoyed, clearly!

You three are just the cutest HP fans! Nice to know that your boys will grow up with an appreciation for hand knits. Let us know what you think of the movie.

Posted by: Jenna at November 18, 2005 3:35 PM

You all are ready for Hogwarts tonight. We'll be there as well, even though we didn't finish the uniform yet!

Posted by: anmiryam at November 18, 2005 4:26 PM

What a cute photo! Now I wanna make a Weasley. Or at least something out of that yarn.

Posted by: Rachel H at November 18, 2005 4:46 PM

Adorable! Once again I'm floored by your expertise. The sweater looks absolutely perfect, and perfect on you, as do the boys' sweaters. Kudos again!

Posted by: Mary at November 18, 2005 5:14 PM

Oh, jeez! You three look simply mahvelous! Such incredible work, Alison. I still can't get over your superhuman knitting speed!

What a great picture! You do such beautiful work and I love that ginger yarn! :)

Posted by: Heather at November 18, 2005 5:27 PM

Adorable sweaters! Yours is especially flattering :-) Hope you enjoyed the movie last night!

Posted by: Kathy at November 18, 2005 6:18 PM

You guys look fantastic! The knitting is superb, but what I am always amazed by is how much your boys love the knitting you do for them. I have to bribe my three-year old to wear the sweaters I make with so much love.

Posted by: Holly Jo at November 18, 2005 7:29 PM

Love the sweaters! My boys wore their robes and HiP scarves, which they hid behind during the graveyard scene. Hope you all had fun!

Hey, did you ever get YOUR sockapaltwoza socks? Did you assign yourself a sock angel?

Happy-footed Jenny

Posted by: Jenny at November 18, 2005 10:25 PM

Beautiful sweaters! The intarsia is fabulous. Those boys just keep getting cuter.

Posted by: Jenny at November 18, 2005 10:33 PM

Gorgeous sweaters, yall look great! Hope you enjoy the movie :o) congrats on finishing your Weasley!

Posted by: Erin at November 18, 2005 11:39 PM

Your sweaters are absolutely gorgeous. I am a young beginning knitter who wants to try to make a sweater similar to yours. How do I read/use a knitting chart?

Posted by: Lacey at November 19, 2005 12:09 AM

The sweaters (and models) are AWESOME!

How was the movie?

I sure hope I don't have to wait until it comes out on DVD!

Posted by: Laurie at November 19, 2005 1:05 PM

The fit and finishing are fantastic.

Posted by: Maggie at November 19, 2005 1:42 PM

Posted by: rebecca at November 20, 2005 8:42 AM

OMG! You guys look so cute! I hope you had a wonderful time.

Posted by: Julia at November 20, 2005 2:51 PM

Awesome!
At last the 3rd movie "Prisoner of..." came to TV...so we all watched it on Friday, it was good...so I will think about seeing the 4th in Cinema.
I saw the 1st one in the cinema and really enjoyed it.
The 2nd one came along when I wasn't going out much ds was very young so I rented it and found it was boring, to me at least and not as special...which put me off the whole HP...but than 3rd one has just made it all better again.

Posted by: Orli at November 21, 2005 7:20 AM

The three of you look very good in your Weasly sweaters! Nice work.

Posted by: sedie at November 21, 2005 6:43 PM

I love them. The H's are so crisp looking. Great job!

Posted by: Vicki at November 21, 2005 11:56 PM

You all look so adorable in Weasleys! Excellent job on all three! I'm pretty much finished with mine as well, but will be doing some "sweater surgery" (as explained in the middle of today's post at http://yarnaholic1963.typepad.com/dances_with_yarn/2005/11/mia.html) and hope to be COMPLETELY finished by this weekend. Better late than never ;-)
