Now that we've decorated what is quite literally the largest tree that could possibly fit in our home,
the boys decided it was time to let Santa know what presents they hope to find under the tree. They insisted on writing their Santa letters all by themselves.

We went to an xmas party for FavortieSpouse's work; I got to sit on Santa's lap. He asked me what I wanted for Xmas and I said honestly "Anything you want, just as long as I do not have to cook it" and he laughed and laughed. He told me later it was the best one he had heard all night.
The lady behind me asked for a new mercedes. That puts it in perspective. Does she need a replacement for her old one?
Of course I could not tell him what I really wanted was yarn. I knew he was a Knitting Muggle.
Aren't they cute! Every time my 3 year old sees something he likes he says, "Tell Santa, I want that."
How sweet that they're looking out for you!
What a thoughtful boy!! :)
Sometimes, being a mom to young kids can make you feel like a food and hug dispenser. It's cool when your kids notice what you do and what you like.
Awww! What a sweetie to include you in the letter. Hope Santa listens and gets you some good yarn :)
hahaha! I love that, they know exactly what you want from Santa :).
Well at least they read their letters to you. The daughter of a friend wrote the letter also but insists it's a secret and wouldn't let their parents know. This could get complicated and dissapointing on Christmas ;-)
Best wishes from Germany

LOL - he knows his mama well, doesn't he? What sweet letters to Santa :-)
Love the Christmas lists! And it was so thoughtful that your son told Santa you want yarn. Gotta love kids!!
Oh, which one said Mommy wants yarn? He's the thoughtful one!
Here's to Santa bringing us all yarn! How will he do it?
