Another pair of socks underway.
And with this project all of my holiday knits are either done or on the needles. Here we go!

Very nice colors. Do you know what number Koigu it is? Now I'm curious to see what it looked like in the skein.
The colors are really knitting up pretty. I like self striping yarns, but sometimes I yearn for something other than stripes.
mmmm...koigu. that's a great colorway.
you're right, those colors are beautiful. much different than what you normally see. i'd like to know what # it is too. gotta get me some!
I just LOVE those colours!! I think that's the best viagrated sock yarn I've ever seen!!! I wouldn't cry if you made me a pair as well - you know you've got time for that now that all your projects are in the air.... he he...
Congratulations!! No needles to be wrapped up with the yarn!! Wish I were as far ahead. Unfortunately, I have papers due for my graduate courses, then on Friday I can knit like a fiend. I love the yarn your mom picked up; she can shop for me anytime.
that is so pretty, I love the way that the colours are coming out. I second the request for the colourway number, or a photo of it in the hank?
Alison, you are the speed demon of all holiday elves! Looks like you are knitting up yet another beautiful pair of socks! I would also be interested in the colorway number.....
There is a picture of the original hank in this post. The Koigu color number is 511 D. I do see 511 on the Purl website still, but there isn't a D after the number and the dye lot is different.
I love your site. It's the one blog that I visit daily. Keep on blogging my yarn sisto... PS. Love the colours in that sock.
Ooo, love the colors! You are such a fast sock knitter. I would still be on pair 2... :)
Yeah, that's probably a hank of yarn I wouldn't have picked out myself, but it really is knitting up beautifully. I love how knitting surprises us like that. (Reminds me of gardening, in a way).
The colors look great! Thanks for sharing the # with us. Sometimes it is sooooo obvious what the yarn will look like. And other times, I swear the yarn is just being mischievously shy.
Huh...I wouldn't have guessed that was Koigu! Nice!
Ah, Purl! Love that store. Whenever I'm in NYC visiting the sis-in-law I always try to go by that store. Isn't their Lobster Pot yarn to die for? Your right, they are so nice to their customers. Even took the time to teach my hubby how to make a ball of yarn from a skien.
I love the colors, but every time I knit socks with Koigu, the two skeins (even of the same dyelot) always end up looking pretty different. Is that value or something? Drives me crazy.
