feeling hot, hot, hot

hot curves

hot pink

Front and back finished and sewn together for a little try on. Now for some sleeves....

it looks great as a tank! and *I* wouldn't have the earworm if you hadn't gone and mentioned it. thanks a lot. Now i have to start humming 'Girl from Ipanema' (scientifically proven to work!)

Oooh, that IS looking hot! Add another one to the must-knit list!

Posted by: Ashley at April 3, 2006 9:06 AM

I thought it wasa tank too! Sooooooo pretty!

Posted by: Scout at April 3, 2006 9:13 AM

That's a marvelous shade of pink! I used to love hot pink when I was a kid. (I had hot pink legwarmers. But forgive me! I was 7, and it was the 80s. Oh, and I'm sure they were acrylic.) I don't know if I could get away with that shade with my super pale skin, but for the first time in about 2 decades, I'm thinking of hot pink again...

Wow, that looks great!

Posted by: Jess at April 3, 2006 9:17 AM

awesome,Alison! The color is great and the shaping is wonderful. I can't wait to see it with sleeves....

Posted by: patti at April 3, 2006 9:27 AM

I don't know, it's awfully cute without sleeves!

Posted by: Chris at April 3, 2006 9:34 AM

love the pattern more and more and that yarn is to die for!

Posted by: jennifer at April 3, 2006 9:36 AM

ohh, looks great! i guess you want sleeves (or maybe you just want to knit more synchronicity) -- it does look fantastic as a tank! :)

Posted by: jess at April 3, 2006 9:40 AM

Yum! I love the pink! How many skeins did the tank part take? I like it just the way it is, personally.

Posted by: Frarochvia at April 3, 2006 9:43 AM

I love it as a tank, it makes me think SUMMER! I guess you'll have to knit the sleeves and remind us it's still only spring....

Great looking sweater! How do you like the other patterns in that book?

Posted by: jocelyn at April 3, 2006 10:10 AM

The sweater looks great! I hope your wrist is ok. I'm a bit worried about you. Remember lots of rest and stretching is very important. You don't want to make matters much worse.

Posted by: Abi at April 3, 2006 10:18 AM

Gorgeous!

Posted by: Monica at April 3, 2006 10:20 AM

Thanks for asking about the wrist, Abi. I'm doing okay. Knitting continental isn't bothering my right wrist at all. Continuing to use the computer still does, but using the wrist support is helping. It's only ever been mild twinges. I've learned to cut way back on my knitting and start wearing the brace right away when I feel anything in my wrist.

Posted by: alison at April 3, 2006 11:03 AM

It also looks great without the sleeves, just in time for spring and summer!! Make the sleeves for the fall. :)

Posted by: gail at April 3, 2006 11:09 AM

Keep it as a tank! Too adorable--you'll love having such a pretty tank this summer!

Posted by: Beverly at April 3, 2006 11:32 AM

If I make this tank will my waist look like yours? Beautiful job fitting.

Posted by: Lynette at April 3, 2006 11:35 AM

Sleeves? Sleeves? You don't need no stinkin' sleeves. (say in silly accented voice...Spanish would be good)
You look HOT without it...Just looking at it makes me want some ice cream.

Posted by: wendy at April 3, 2006 11:48 AM

Even without sleeves, it already looks better on you than it does on the model in the original picture. Kudos, once again, you master knitter, you! :-)

Posted by: Mary at April 3, 2006 11:54 AM

That IS hot!

Posted by: Beth S. at April 3, 2006 12:14 PM

It looks great - I say keep it as a tank and forget about sleeves!

Posted by: Kris at April 3, 2006 1:49 PM

Wow, it looks great, even without sleeves! I love it!

Posted by: Wanda at April 3, 2006 1:57 PM

That looks GREAT!!!

Posted by: Lyn at April 3, 2006 2:58 PM

I love it. Love the PINK!! How many skeins did you get for the whole sweater? I may have to knit one up too.

Posted by: Diane at April 3, 2006 3:47 PM

FAB, FAB, FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!

Posted by: knittingnurse at April 3, 2006 4:59 PM

I have to agree with the chorus, it looks smashing! I'd wear as a tank for now & save the sleeves for fall. :)

That waist shaping looks great on you!

Posted by: Gina at April 3, 2006 6:21 PM

Yummolicious! I love the pink.

Posted by: liz at April 3, 2006 7:11 PM

I love it! Isn't waist shaping the best?
