UPDATE: Oops! There was a bug in the database system. Those of you who attempted to update your info to include that you had sent out your socks should check your info again to be sure that it recorded that change. If not, click the button again. It should work now! Sorry for the inconvenience.
-----------------------------------
This week we got finishers and (almost) nothing but finishers. Cause there are soooo dang many of them! With over 100 new finishers, we're now up to 70% done on the big list - way to go! For the rest of you, a highlight from sock sister Ina: "For those of you 'looozers still knitting along, Pip and Tom's excellent Ode says it all."
By the way, I've already got six sock saviors working on make-up socks: Marti, Colleen, Alison, Ann, Lou, and Bev. They're the greatest!! If you want to be a sock savior, please let me know by accessing your info in the database and checking "sock savior". With this many participants, I know we'll be needing a lot. I can send any "sock savior needed" emails directly to you if you've indicated that you're ready in the database. Thanks!!

I mailed it out this afternoon. I want to do this again- and I haven't even gotten my socks yet! Thanks so much for doing this. It was really fun.
Hey Allison. Thank you so much for your vision towards this gigantic world-wide exchange. I am glad that you did not allow the shortcomings of the previous exchanges to keep you from doing it again. It was great fun.
Just wanted to say that once again, you are the goddess of socks. thank you for hosting... I had a lot of fun.
And now for the shoutout... Beth S sent me the BEST socks a sockpal could ask for. Totally my style and she has psychic powers when it comes to picking out colors. Beth S rocks!

I've been a very good girl, my sock pal's package was sent out yesterday.
Can't wait to get mine! hehee :)
Hi, there.
I hate to sound really dumb, but is there a list where I can link to people's blogs (not the big list that links to their finished photos) so I can see the finished and delivered socks as they arrive? :)
bfmomma
eagerly awaiting the mailman every day now...
Hey bfmomma, the big list links to people's blogs. It links to the specific entry where they posted their finished socks. You should be able to get to the main page of the blog from whatever archive page I've linked to. If the big list links directly to a picture, then they don't have a blog.
Sorry, I just don't have time right now to produce a second list or update it with links to received socks. :0(
duh! I should have thought of that. sometimes the brain doesn't really work. I certainly wasn't asking for a new list--just wondering if I'd missed it.
THANKS!
Hey again, bfmomma, maybe I can get tech guy/hubby to search the database for those folks who have reported having received their socks and find a quick way to paste their blog info into the sidebar. Would that be helpful??
Okay, bfmomma, you got it! Check the sidebar for links to folks who have reported in that they received their socks. (Hooray for hubby!)
I sent my update to you on April 25 as I had sent my socks out that date. I didn't see my name on the "update" listing on Tuesday so I checekd it and the info was there.
Just wanted to remind you that I have them all done and on their way to the US of A. I have checked the tracking of the parcel and it has been "out for delivery" since April 29...so not sure what is going on...
Also got a note from my secret pal letting me know that my socks are being mailed on Monday May 8...
omg... now I feel like a spoiled brat! tell hubby i am way impressed and thanks :)
hanging head in embarassment,
No, no, bfmomma, not at all. It was a good idea, but I didn't have time to make up a whole new page with a separate list and update the list. Then I realized that hubby could probably whip up a mini-list of just those received pretty easily. So it was no biggie. And it works great!
Susanne, you were listed as finished on April 4th - an early finisher, yay! Maybe your pal is on vacation for a couple of days and hasn't been able to pick up the socks yet. Wishing you and your pal happy feet very soon! :)
I received my socks from Danielle (nonokittyknits) and I love them. I have worn them for the past 2 days. I had a great time. Thanks.
Sheryl
I mailed my socks out to spain on April 20th. I hope that Jennifer received them by now. I have been on the road (2 week roadtrip vacation to Arkansas and back). Waiting for my socks to arrive.
