sunshine, daises, butter mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow

Just something that's been stuck in my head while I've been working on my latest pair of Gryffindor socks. The spell isn't working any better for me than it did for Ron. But I did finish the first sock.

And a little birdie told me that weasley knitalonger, Stephanie, finished her HP scarf! The name of that bird? Let's see was it Sirius, or Minerva, or Parvati, or maybe Nimbus?

Hey Allison,
Thanks again for hosting Sockapalooza it's been a blast and very exciting to see the socks and gifts that people are recieving but... I've tried updating my info several times in the last week to show that my socks are finished and sent and there's no change on the list on your blog. Am I doing something wrong??

That's so weird . I am re-reading the first book and have just read this line. = )

I think that just means that the second sock will go faster if you knit it while watching Sorcerer's Stone.

cute sock! I just ordered some ravenclaw colored yarn to make a second scarf (my first was a gryffindor) and I ordered some gryffindor striping sock yarn too!

Hey Alison! Your sock looks great. Do you carry the yarn along or do you cut and then weave in all the ends?? Any suggestions for those of us who are doing stripes out of two colors?
