wicked cute

Look, I got flip flop socks!

When I was doing my sock updates a few weeks ago, I spotted the adorable little bonus socks that Beate made for her sockapaloooza pal with leftover yarn from the real pair. I commented on how cool they were and Beate knit and sent me a pair. What a sweetie! Thanks so much, Beate. I absolutely love them!

Now if only the sun would come out again here so I could wear them. (Seriously, there's no sun in the whole 10-day forecast! See ya in June, little flip flop socks.)

So cute, and they show off the peti too!

Those are so cute! Any idea of the pattern? I looked at Beate's site, and it's in German.

I have had that pattern sitting around wanting to be knit. It is free on the Regia site and is even translated to English. Get it here:

now, where is that cotton sock yarn?

Those are adorable - that's it, between the Regia Canadian colors and the new India colors, I my resistance is wearing thin. German knitters see all the best sock yarn first!

Very cute!

jeez...and did you get a pedicure too? when did you find the time?

Posted by: lisa b at May 10, 2006 10:00 AM

Dude! Those are so freaking cute! I must have them now.

Nice pedicure! They look great with your socks!

Nice pedi!

Posted by: colleen at May 10, 2006 10:59 AM

lovely pedi - is there a mani to go with it? I am thinking these are the next car project.

You MUST be in New England! lol Can't wait for the SUN. Great little socks - I'm sure my girls will want a pair - thankfully they will be a quick knit and they look great on you :) Stay dry!

Ooh, super cute! I love that idea! There's sooo much leftover sock yarn in my stash, this is the perfect fix!

Those are sweet!

cute pedi, cute sock, got to have a pair.

Posted by: Dee at May 10, 2006 8:57 PM

did I say, I had to have a pair...

Posted by: Dee at May 10, 2006 8:59 PM

Wow, this might be my first foray into the land of sock knitting. These even I could handle!

Posted by: Purl Needlemeyer at May 10, 2006 9:11 PM

What amazes me is how well they match! Down to the very last stitch they match. How do people do that? I get close but not THAT close.

Posted by: knittingnurse at May 11, 2006 8:31 AM

I'm glad you like them. :)

Posted by: Beate at May 11, 2006 8:48 AM

I should make those for my MIL's Bday in Aug. she is always wearing socks with her flip flops...it's mind bending...
