You may recall that I started knitting this cardi in the hopes that if I knit something springy, spring would come. Instead of spring, we got floods. And it's still raining. Knitting crinkle would appear to be some sort of powerful rain dance. Luckily, I'm almost done dancing.

Dear god woman, stop dancing! ;-)
Can't wait to see it totally done and modeled! Wonderful color and pattern! Living in the NE, I know just what you mean about all this rain - enough!
That is so yummy ~ can't wait to see the finished product! And, oh, perhaps in person, as Wee C & I are coming to Boston next month ~
I know what you mean about this rain! I live in RI and the rain just won't stop! Kudos for knitting springy outfits. I want to knit light and airy things, but the farthest I can go are lacey wool shawls and lacey wool scarves. :)
I think you're rain dance is affecting us, too! (Nova Scotia) We haven't seen sun in at least a week. It poked out for about ten minutes so far today, but it's cloudy, and the forecast is rain all weekend again! My lawn needs to be mowed!
Love it and can hardly wait to see the finished project!
I think I need to start knitting Crinkle - we desperately need the rain.
You got floods, we got raging heat and daily downpours. I can't wait to see the finished cardigan, though!
Here in L.A. we're having June Gloom - all the clouds, none of the wet.
Gotta agree--love the color and the pattern and looking forward to seeing the finished work! That color's got to brighten up even the cloudiest day. You may want to back off on knitting it, though, when you start seeing animals walking by in twos. Just a suggestion......... ;)
That's going to be one cheerful cardi! So even if finishing doesn't make the rain go away, you'll have your own sunshine.
I met one of your fellow knitsmiths, Claire, recently at my college reunion. She said, "I'm in a knitting group in Boston called the Knitsmiths." And I replied "Gah! You knit with Alison!" I was goofily excited about the whole thing, this being the closest I have come to meeting someone I "know" from blogland. :)
That's what happens when you are too talented; the goddess answers in abundance.
So *that's* why we're having so much rain! ;-)
(I bet the cardi will be worth it, though. It's looking great!)
