Help, I'm trapped playing checkers with the boys! Can't blog, can't knit. Save me!

Hm. Are these boys almost big enough for the s-word?

Hmmm...you could knit a new board as you wait for your turn?

No fair! Two against one...

But checkers is a two person game! Isn't that why you had twins in the first place, so that they would play together? ;-)

checkers is a two person game..unless they want you to "play the winner".
hm...i like the comment about knitting a checker board--tell them it's a "special project"

They're still just learning the game, so I've got to sit by and remind them that they can't move pieces backwards or just slide pieces horizontally as far as they want and stuff like that. S wants me to give him tips for good moves too (unfortunately for him, it would appear that B is better at checkers than me!).

Introduce them to slapjack. Hours of fun!

I thought the beauty of twins was that they played with each other? I guess boys always want their mommy to play with them, too! :-)

oh oh! i've got the answer to this one - mommy experienced advice... ready?
start winning. after 2 or 3 games of losses, mom is not that much fun any more. evil? yes. but it also works :D

I say offer to knit them a checker board.

The knitting can wait, your boys will grow up too fast. Play as long as you can. I'm a little jealous...

At least those little fellas are so darn cute, it would be impossible to get tired of them.
