I can't show you the project I'm designing right now, but look, the yarn turned my Bryspuns red!

I had the same thing happen to a set of Brittanys when I was test knitting for someone.
I use these needles now only for cranberry/pink things and they have bled *back* to yarn.
Same thing happened to a set of bamboo needles that I was using with Cascade Venezia in navy. Does anyone know how to fix it?
I had a bunch (5 felted bags worth) of raspberry Cascade 220 turn my Denise tips pink. Fortunately, they haven't bled back onto any yarn, though.
I just finished a Flower Basket Shawl that dyed my bamboo circs pink. I washed them gently with some Lava soap and most of the dye came out. You might try soaping your hands up with Lava and them rubbing them on the needles. By putting the soap on your hands rather than on the needles, you won't accidentally rub a rough spot onto your needles, but you still get the good clean from the soap.
I had some Lambs Pride turn my Denise set brown once - not as cute as your pink!
So....note to self, when the pattern releases, don't use the recommended yarn in red?
I was almost wondering about purposefully dyeing my bryspuns...
Let me guess - ArtYarns Supermerino? :) I ended up with pink Clover DPNs.
Hmm, bryspuns are made in NZ? How come I've never seen them for sale here?!
Yep, ArtYarns I bet.....sigh...something that happens VERY frequently. You'd think at those prices it wouldn't!
Another secret project? I can't stand the suspense!
Well that's something I haven't seen before. If it turns the needles that color, what does it do to your skin?
Nice color for the needles. Too bad they might bleed back onto diffferent yarn. You could try washing them in a bleach solution.
Bryspuns are made in NZ, eh? As a devoted down-under-phile I'll have to get some now. ;)
