yuuuummmm... yarn

I received a bunch of yarn from a yarn company yesterday and look at the box they sent it in!

not for resale, I get, but best before Jul 06??

Do you see it at the top left? It's a Reeses Pieces box! I'm thinking that either means that they're buying old boxes from somewhere or the folks who work at Plymouth Yarn stay well supplied with delicious treats. Luckies!

yum, reeses pieces! They are my favourite chocolate snack. I'm more interested in the yarn that was in the box though!

Yummy ... Reeses Pieces. *drool*

What was in the box? Yarn, I know, but specifics, please! :)

I cast on for your Ribbed Keyhole Scarf yesterday. It's a great pattern. Simple, but great. It's going to be a gift for my aunt. :)

Personally, I like the "best before Jul 06" on the box.. I think the yarn is expired :)

Does the yarn smell like peanut butter? I think that would make me happy. =)

The should have left you a pack of Reese's pieces or two in the box, if you ask me! ;)

Did it smell nice and peanutty? Yum.

It seems all the yarn we get delivered to the shop from Plymouth comes in candy boxes.

Wouldn't it be grand if all yarn was delivered with a bit of candy?!

now i'm craving some reese's doh!

I got yarn from the Plymouth Yarn folks in a pickled herring box. I think they're playing favorites! ;-)

There ought to be a new product in there somewhere - chocolate-scented yarn? At least they get credit for recycling!

Eep.. I'm allergic to peanuts and hate the smell of PB. My grandmother gave me some yarn that reeks of cigarette smoke, but I don't know.. peanut-y yarn just might be worse. Ugh!

ooooh....aren't you going to show us what's inside the box? :)

There must be a way to grind or smash up Reece's pieces or peanut butter cups and make a crust for a chocolate peanut butter ice cream pie.

If so, best only make it once a year.

I've been sneaking in your archives, and figured out that I entered for your second weasly-along in august LAST YEAR! I even ordered the kit, about a year ago. HOW did this happen? Yesterday evening I cast on and knitted the first few rounds of the back. The yarn is lovely :) I really hope I can stay focused this time!

By the way - my boy wants his own letter on the front - S - do you know about any s-charts I can steal?

No fair not showing what was INSIDE the box!
