seaming kisses

After seaming the circle of friends blanket, I'm on a little seaming jones. I perused the current projects and found the hugs and kisses sweater in need of some seaming.

Body together and one sleeve in. Ahh, that felt good.

So, what are you seaming today?

My major project for the day will be blocking the Diamond Fantasy Shawl I knit for my SIL ... but I may be seaming a bootee later on.

I wish I had something to seam! At the moment I have a sad solitary sock on the needles.

I have a infant sweater I made a year ago and have to steek. Needless to say I'm a bit steek leary. Maybe I'll do it today,

That is too cute. I'm finishing up a few christmas gifts, no real seams to speak of

Hopefully I'll be seaming a simple sweater that I've grown quite bored with for my daughter. The only thing that keeps me going on it is that she really really wants to wear it. But it's really really wearing on ME because it's. so. blah.

Funny you should ask that because I have just been looking at a whole bin bag full of blue squares from the Knit a River project that I volunteered to sew together. Plenty more where they came from, I find sewing squares strangely medidative..

I seamed yesterday, my husband's Cambridge Jacket. Nothing to seam today.

I've been seaming lately too-- finished up a bunch of preemie hats that were sitting around with ends hanging out, and donated those to the NICU nurse... also seamed the pink sweater I finished months ago & posted on babybloggybumpers... today's goal is to find buttons for it, and I will post pictures when done.

Actually - I AM seaming today strangely enough. I'm finishing up a Candi Jensen baby cardi for a baby shower TOMORROW. Yup. Talk about last minute - and I still need to run out for three buttons and two sets of snaps. And a gift box, wrapping paper, and ribbon. Yikes! Sweater looks great...as usual.

I'm knitting a toy zebra and not only does it have seams but a million little black and white ends to weave in. Last time I knit a toy!

Oh, I should be seaming! There's just something about getting started. I have four sweaters in a stack that need to be seamed. It's not that I don't like to seam -- it is just hard for me to get in the mood.

The pink Xs and Os sweater is precious, btw.

Hey, I'm seaming today too! My project isn't as cute as yours, though. That hugs and kisses sweater is adorable.

I seemed nothing, but I went to the post office and mailed two hats I made a friend in Minnesota.
Hopefuly, if computer will corporate I'll post picture also.
I so love hugs and kisses. I want one adult size for me =)

I'm not seaming anything today, but tomorrow I am seaming a very girly (knit in two shades of pink) Weasley sweater for my one-year-old niece. The knitting is almost finished, I'm on the last sleeve and then I have to seam, knit the neckband, and knit and attach a heart instead of duplicate-stitch an "I" for her name. I'll send picks to you when I'm done :)

Little tiny mittens! Though (sadly) this is the last seaming for a little bit, unless I come up with something new to seam.

hm, just got an idea...

So wonderful. Thanks for sharing the hugs and kisses - I love the way the pattern works out the X's and O's. And I love the hat inspired by Lola (and drawn by for "wee one". You are definitely smaller with one baby instead of two growing within--but still wonderful!! Thanks for sharing of your trip to Rhinebeck and of the Knitsmiths and the twins. You do so inspire!! And "B" is quite the artist, drawing just the cap his new sister will one day wear. Oh and I loved the Thing 1 and Thing 2 and this year's pumpkin costumes with the "self-drawn" faces. How neat!!

I need to finish the fronts of my Central Park Hoodie so I can seam them to the back. I've never done much seaming before and this is my first big sweater project, so I hope it all goes well.

Ugh seaming! The bain of my existence....

Good luck seaming, everyone!! Thanks so much for sharing all your seaming projects.

Have fun with that steeking, Lynette!

Kerrie, I can't wait to see all your blue squares. Sounds awesome!

Oooh, Krista, a toy to seam, yikes!

A pink Weasley, Alicia, love it!

The hugs and kisses sweater has got to be one of the sweetest patterns I've yet to see Alison!
