So cute! I remember losing my teeth, and being so excited for the Tooth Fairy to come! And the kindergarten concert -- they all look so grown up!
Nice tree too!
yay! for the tooth! When Nick lost teeth, he always got SAcajawea dollars.... they were special and he kept them all.... One night he lost a tooth at like 10pm and we didn't have a 'stash' of backup dollars, so just so you know, the Post Office in LaBelle Florida would give gold dollars as change if you bought a book of stamps with a $20!
The tooth fairy, a hubby to the rescue, and 5/6 year olds singing holiday tunes -- it's like the universe knew you needed a pick-me-up! Glad you had a better day.
Cute kid, pretty tree, and more cute kids! That was the pick me up I needed!
gotta love kiddie programs. however, now that my boys are in junior high (oh wait, it's middle school now!) they do their concerts in the auditorium, and they DIM THE LIGHTS. while normally this doesn't bother me, i don't have any stockinette or garter stitch projects going, sooooooooooo, no knitting.
congrats on s losing his baby tooth!
Glad things are looking up. Congrats to S!
Awwwww. Glad things are looking better :-)
Yeah, Tooth fairy AND Santa Claus all in one week! Woo Hoo!
I'm glad things sound like they have turned around!
Awww, I see no more dead ducks in sight.
Awww, Kindergarten holiday concerts - so fun!
I just love the way little ones look when they lose that first tooth - and so proud too.
Great looking tree!
Tooth fairy!!! And now decorating the tree. A good week for all.
how much does the tooth fairy pay out these days?
I wish we had trees like that here. Google "Radiata Pine" and you'll see why I have a fake.
Your husband did a great job picking out that tree. The picture of the kindergarten concert reminds me of the holiday concert when my older daughter was in kindergarten (in 1978!). Her teacher was one of the most amazing teachers ever - she had a knack for relating to young children & it was wonderful for both my girls to have such a positive experience as their first exposure to school. Ms. Tsuru was originally from Hawaii & she had the children wear grass skirts, do the hula & sing Mele Kalikimaka (Bing Crosby sang it on one of his Christmas albums). It was sooooo cute.
Adorable concert! And the excitement of lost teeth...my poor little guy only just lost his first tooth at age 7 and 3/4, whereas his big sis started losing them at age four. But talk about a build-up! When that first tooth finally came out last week (the same one as your son's), it came out with such fanfare, you can't imagine!
