Announcing a little incentive to help you sockapaloozas get those socks done and update the database. Each month, I'll make a list of all the folks who have entered in the database that they've finished in that month and pull one name to win a fabulous sock suprise! The winner for May is: Danielle of the Knitting Niche. And she's won a copy of Sensational Knitted Socks
!
At the end of June I'll pull one name from all those who finish and update their info in the database in June and they'll win an awesome package of sock-y goodness from Simply Socks! (Thanks to Allison for the prize donation!) And there'll be a July prize too, so keep on knittin'!
Wanna see more finished socks? We've got 46 reported finishers so far - check 'em out on the big list!

I love them! They are definitely on my list of socks to knit for myself.
You can never have too many pictures of: babies, pets and awesome socks.
Cool to see the loooooong list! Oh, and congratulations on your very pretty socks... I do habour a hope to be the recipient... ;-)
Pretty, pretty socks. They're on my to-do list. Gosh, I feel like such a slacker. I just started my pal's socks. I'm a whopping 2 inches into them.
Sensational Knitted Socks is a great book, I can't wait to check out her latest one! I need to get on that finishing bandwagon.
I finished my first sock yesterday so maybe I'll be able to have a pair at the end of this month.
Beutiful socks by the way, wish they were for me. :)
Those socks are fabulous. Didn't realize how very cool the toes were! Will you be blocking them? They're so pretty now, I don't think they need it.
Love the socks Alison. I love that pattern - I made a pair last summer.
I'd be done with my pal's socks by now if I didn't hit a speed bump (needs some ripping back) But since I love the yarn so much, I may keep knitting the botched pair for myself and order another skein for my pal (and knit them at warp speed too!)
I have finished my first sock and I'm on the foot of the second one. My pal has longer feet than I do so it seems to be taking longer.
Hmmmmm why don't the toes of my finished one look like that? They are great fun to knit though.
They are really great, the pattern and the yarn look good together! I just finished my socks too.
Well done you! Great socks! Now I have no excuse not to finish mine - I don't even have a newborn!
I *heart* those socks, so pretty!
Your green leaf socks are fabulous! I have some green yarn......
Nice job there! I bet you are so glad to have them done early! I just got my yarn on Monday from the UK, so soon I'll finally be casting on! :)
I love the sock pattern. THey are really nice.
I finished my pals socks but I am not sure how to get into the data base and mark it as finished. I know the blog isn't working well and I haven't been able to figure out the other site. I haven't blogged about the socks I finished being for my sockapalooza pal but I will soon.
Your socks look gorgeous! I started the socks for my pal but I am not satisfied with the yarn choice so I am going to start over this weekend.
You're certainly going to make your pal happy; those socks are great! I've just finally made a decision on yarn and pattern. I've got a pair to finish on the needles then it's on to my pal's socks.
What do we do if we're knitting two pairs of socks for our pal? Should we update the database after we finish the first pair, or after both pairs are finished?
Oooh, good question, Lana. The idea of updating the database is to let me know that you have completed your obligation to knit a pair of socks for your pal and would be ready to send. So I'd say go ahead and click finished when you finished the first pair. That way I'll still know that you are ready to send, even if you don't get that second pair knitted.
Thanks for being such a generous pal! :)
