Wee one's wee soft lux shrug now has a back! I couldn't resist laying it out over the first piece of the denim pinafore I'm also knitting for her to see how it will look on her.
Looking at these sorts of work-in-progress pictures with yarn ends everywhere, I can hardly believe that the garment will ever look neat and orderly. Sort of like my home nowadays.

a wardrobe for wee one
Well I can't wait to see all of these pieces put together. I'm sure it will be adorable!
Too cute! What a pretty little outfit.. I can't wiat to see it on her!
What a little fashion plate! (Does anyone use the term "fashion plate" anymore? How Nineteenth-Century is *that*?)
I find that weaving in ends is best done in front of the TV with a big glass of wine!
oh that is going to be so darling!!! :D I'm having a little sewing-party on my couch this week... almost done with a sweater for me, but I've been putting off the sewing up for a while... it'll get there eventually!
hehehe
Alison, I've bought two balls of Rowan Denim with the intention of turning them into the cablenet socks on knitty. I was never aware of the propensity of this yarn to shrink up! Any thoughts :(
She'll be beautiful in that (of course she'd be beautiful in anything--or nothing).
My home is chaos just now as the downstairs flooring is being replaced. I can sympathize with your house-keeping frustrations.

Oh I just love knitting for little ones. The outfit will be adorable.
I just belatedly realized that my most recent comments, which I wish I could take back, have tended to refer to body parts. What did Gilda Radner used to say? "Never mind." I'm going to shut up now.
What a darling outfit this will be on a darling baby.
I thought they were cute already, but TOGETHER...too sweet!
Every little girl needs sparkles!
Re: "I can hardly believe that the garment will ever look neat and orderly. Sort of like my home nowadays." I know what you mean, but isn't knitting umpteen-million times more fun than cleaning?
I sure think so.
If I go into someone's house that's too neat, I worry about their kids. Those are the kids that are constantly told not to make a mess.
You could do housework instead of knitting and sewing.
Um, NAH!
