it isn't easy being green

I'm working with this green Shelridge Farm worsted wool (yummmy!). I've swatched and swatched and swatched and changed my plans over and over.

If I can ever get things to synch, this should be a design for the sweet sheep and something new for me to wear to Rhinebeck. Man, where is Tim Gunn when you need him? "Make it work!"

Yummy yarn! Can't wait to see the finished product. I've always said I am not fond of green but then I have found myself wearing an awful lot of it over the past several years. And a couple of years ago I became enamored of that particular shade of bright spring green although unfortunately I cannot wear it - only that very dark forest green with blue undertones. But my oldest grand has blond hair, blue eyes & rather olive skin - he looks great in colors like yellow, orange & that shade of green as well as the expected blues. So all that green I bought won't go to waste.

I hear through the rumor mill that Tim (and Heidi, but I don't care as much about her) will be back November 14th! I am so excited!

Have you seen the ads for Tim's new makeover show on Bravo? It starts in a couple weeks. Normally makeover shows bore me but I adore that guy so I'll check it out.

I have such a weakness for that shade of green. Lovely, lovely.

I know we just finished Sockapalooza but that yarn just perfect for a pair of Embossed Leaves knee socks!
