moms are gooood, mmmkay

My mommy made me a dolly that I love to cuddle with.

And my mommy sent me my new favorite, favorite, favorite sewing book Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts. I pretty much want to make everything in this book. Everything! And thanks to my quilting class and my success with the Bend the Rules Sewing book, I've become deluded enough to think I could make most of them too.

LOL. I love her outfit btw.
I've created a registry on Amazon for my little one and I'm trying to find stuff to put on it and I'm searching and searching and all I find is that pink and purpule and nothing inspiring...save for the cute Red Sox outfit...
if you know of anything original on Amazon, do let me know.

I heard about Jess's book MUCH too late and all copies were gone. Your doll is very cute and I'm wondering what other great projects I'm missing out on!

I just got that book from Amazon the other day! Awesome isn't it?! I'm going to be learning to sew in a couple of weekends. Yay! L looks so cute, so, so, so cute!

I just bought 'bend the rules' yesterday. I'm so freaking excited!!

Yay, more baby pics!

I love how she's got her baby by the head in the first pic and she's multitasking in the 2nd. Why just suck your thumb when you can check out dolly's leg, too?

I have faith in you, Alison. Why can't you make most of them?

I have this incredible need to squeeze those chubby baby legs. BABY!

My daughter had the exact same dress! I love seersucker dresses on little girls! The toy looks great too!

Hi Alison,

it scares me a bit, that you discover sewing now, like I do. :) I already have the book and made the elephant. He is not ready yet and I am not happy with my work, but nevertheless you can see it on my blogg anyway. Its funny that I sew a lot of knitblogers discovering the sewing aswell.
Your babygirl is such a cute one.
Best Wishes

Sibylle
