a snowy day

We're trapped inside while the snow is coming down gangbusters outside.

Left hand on blue. That's blue, wee one. Oh, heck, wee one on yellow.

And who says we can't play ball inside?

Well, I'll be getting nothing done today!

Aww, cute! At least you're getting snow--we had three ice storms here in the span of 2.5 weeks.

It looks like you've gotten a lot done.

I think Wee One is doing really well. She's got her hands on the spots.

The Wee Girl Child looks amazing like a kewpie doll in the second picture. Just the epitome of cute.

At least you are getting snow. Down here in Alabama it was 56 degrees at 4:50 this afternoon! Wee One looks like she is having fun with her brother! I wish I could play ball inside!

"Wee one on yellow."

For some strange reason (maybe because I am still at work), that sentence made my day. I have a new catch phrase for when things don't go as planned, but it's not really a major problem, "Oh heck, wee one on yellow."

That is soooo cute. Good to get 'em started on Twister early on. And I love Kat's take on it all - I'm going to adopt that, too.

Hehe, it doesn't look like her little arms would stretch far enough to get to blue!

hey, we played Twister too! Zoe style - rubber band colored hands instead of left and rights. yellow hand yellow. Red hand green. fun for all.

I suppose snow days beat fire days, but any way you look at it, trying to keep small children entertained indoors all day is a major challenge. Good luck!

Snow days are so much fun (of course, it was great for me that yesterday was a snow day for a lot of adults too)!

My 5 year old just saw the Twister pics as I was reading this entry and he says "I can do that too!" Hmmm... not sure we have Twister in the house and the next storm is coming. I need to be better prepared!

Don't tell me you've got WII ?!
Well, it's justifiable with the weather you get in MA.
I showed Gil the box of Twister in the toy store...but I don't think he knows this game...he didn't seem excited. I love it...but at my present state would be hard to play it.
