red sox pride day

I hope you're wearing red today because it's Red Sox Pride Day! All of Boston is celebrating the home opener today by wearing their Red Sox gear (or red) and donating money to the the Jimmy Fund's Rally Against Cancer. The boys' school participates every year, collecting donations in honor of two students with cancer. The kids all wear red and bring in a dollar each. (If you would like to contribute, you can donate to the kids' team here or directly to the Jimmy Fund here.) The boys went today in Ramirez and Ellsbury shirts and wee one is wearing not only her little pink Red Sox shirt but also her new red pants that I finished up just in time.

Yay, more baby pictures!!!!!

I love that last pic.

Oh my gosh, is that her blankie?

As usual, you've outdone yourself, Alison.

So funny that you posted this - I was just taking pictures and posting our Home Opener preparations this morning!! Go Sox!

Pity us poor Cubs fans - it's now been 100 years of saying "next year." There are almost no fans left who were even alive last time they won the Series! I was just browsing Ravelry & found this photo of a pair of baby bell bottoms someone made from your pattern: http://tinyurl.com/5ndz9s Super cute! Thought you might like to see what you've inspired.

Hi!
I found your blog through google. I a swedish knitblogger who is looking for that pattern of Mac´s Apple from Magknits(just the apple). And I found it on your blog.
I can´t get it from Magknits because they just closed there site:(
I wonder if you still have it? And if you could mail it to me? If it´s ok with you, of course.

I love the red baby pants. And of course looking at pics of your girl wearing them. She is adorable. I am from the Pittsburgh Area, and so I root for the Pirates but intestingly enough I have a red shirt on for the day. Guess I can root for your team one day at least!

What a great posting! Did you see the game? That was so great with Buckner! and winning! It was a great day...my pink shirt says "Yankee's Suck", can we still wear them? My team shirt is Dice-K, but his real name spelled out. Go Sox!
