I've knitted wee one's wild-and-crazy and quiet-and-classy placket neck sweaters up to the armhole openings.
And I find myself ready to knit four little sleeves. Hmmmm, isn't this what I used to do when I was knitting for the boys? Here I have just one baby to knit for and I'm doing it again. Two of these, four of those. I just like working in pairs, I guess.

placket neck sweaters
I'm so glad you found some other cutie sweaters to knit! That pinky mocha color is just fabulous :)
Just like Noah :) I wasn't sure about wild and crazy before but on the larger sample I think it will be great. Are you planning anything to add intrest to the quiet and classy?
The wild-and-crazy doesn't seem bad at all! It looks very nice. I got my yarn in the mail the other day...yummy! Thanks!!!
OMG the plain one looks just like a sweater I made for myself!!! Is that Knit One Crochet Too Parfait Solids in "dusty lilac" by chance???? :-)
Both are so pretty. I'm anxious to see them finished.

I agree - the varigated is looking better on a bigger section. Both are cute! I can picture some little embroidered flowers on the purple one.
You all know me so well! I'm planning a big duplicate stitch flower on the plain one in a dark, purpley burgundy shade I have of the same yarn. (The yarn, by the way, is KFI Cashmereno. Sorry, Lauren.)
I just thought I'd let you know that I *finally* used the wonderful yarn you dyed for me. :) Blogged at: http://noricum.blogspot.com/2008/07/crochet-socks.html
I still like the bright one best.
I'm liking the one on the left more and more!
I'm joining the varigated bandwagon. It's starting to look really cool and funky now that we see it on a bigger piece of material. Both are turning out quite nice!
LOL. Wee one will have a proper gals closet...as she'll have double the cloths her brothers have :-D
