when the boys are away, the girls will play

After dropping off the boys at school, wee one and I got out our toys. Not that I can really get much knitting done while she's awake, but as she played with her dollhouse, I was able to get my Rebecca sweater out, see where I had left off, and refamiliarize myself with the pattern. The knitting is slow with so many stitches on the needle and, frankly, with my hands being so out of practice after so many weeks of sewing instead of knitting. But it's looking great and, best of all, it was fun.

Love that sweater - love the orange & very, very pale pink together & the shape of the sleeves.

My mom still has the FP house that we all played with as kids, and that my kids played with when they were little. Gotta love it!

I love the Little People too. Have you ever seen a broken F-P toy? Not me. I'm 47 years old and I still fondly remember playing with the dump truck depot and the Old Woman In The Shoe. That's when the Little People were made of wood. Aahhhh! The olden days...

I can't wait to see how the sweater turns out!

I'm so jealous of her house! I had the brown one, but it seems to have disappeared from my parent's attic (Which is weird, cause the barn is there.) I loved that house! Have fun wee one!
