teal + purple IS good

Lookie, Evan Rachel Wood (never heard of her!) wore almost the same colors as in my quilt at the SAG awards on Sunday and it looked good (so said the E Fashion Police people). Very reassuring.

I would never ever think to match those shoes (and clutch) with that dress but wow it really works! That dress looks great with her hair color, too.

Aw, she looks pretty. Evan has stared in films such as "Thirteen" and "The Missing".

And "Across the Universe" and the upcoming "The Wrestler". Yes, I'm a movie freak. She's beautiful though. And the colors totally work together.

You know what, I think she's engaged to Marilyn Manson! I think it's best that you had already known that they looked great together! We don't need no stinking celebrity confirmation!

(that grammar killed me, you know it was for effect, right :)

The name is familiar but I have no idea why she's a celeb. But that outfit is absolutely gorgeous!

I have that shade of magenta-y purple for a pair of mittens (which keep getting pushed down the queue by deadline knitting even though it is cold!). So pretty!

I think when you're THAT pretty, you could pull off the vilest combination of mustard yellow, shocking pink and monkey-vomit green! But she does teal and purple beautifully.

I think she got her start in the tv show Once and Again.

I think you have to be young to be able to pull that color combo off! I do love it.

Purple is going to be the new black for winter in 2009 so I am sure your colors will be very fashionable. I think they look great together.

I think she's just making a statement...I figure if you spend so much money on a gown you might as well have the shoes and purse made to match from the same fabric. Just MHO.
