perfect

Hermione's cable & eyelet hat (free pattern here) came out just right after all! The child sizing is perfect for the 5 year-old I made the hat for, the little eyelets are delightful, the Lush is sooo soft, and I used up almost every last yard of the one skein. I think wee one is going to need one of these for the Fall.

Thanks to Jackie for the awesome pattern and to the Harry Potter Crafters Group on Ravelry for the opportunity to knit along with them!

That is absolutely luscious. I like the way the ribbing just covers her ears. Does Wee One leave her hats on when you're out and about or is she a hat-yanker-offer?

It's a sweet looking hat, and at one skein isn't too dear even with a pricier yarn.

This has to be my next hat! I love it. Thanks for making it and inspiring me.

That hat is just so luscious looking! I think I'm going to have to find the Lush I know I have in stash & make at least one of those. And Wee One is the perfect model.

Delicious little 'chapeau' looks so soft, stylish and comforting. I must try this pattern out for my little one.
