Is anyone else thinking of "Chicken Soup With Rice"?

Aww... I'm instantly reminded of "lazy jane" who wanted a drink of water.... my 2nd favorite poem. My 1st? Ladies First!

Hope the boys are enjoying the poetry. :)

Ah, Shel.

Probably because of when I first read any of Shel Silverstein's poems, I always start thinking about Sleepy Ida. They're not related, though they are similar in feel.

Aww! Hug o' War is my favorite but that one would make an adorable card to give your significant other.

My favorites were always the one about the girl who wouldn't take the garbage out and the one about the kid who's faking sick to stay home from school, and then realizes it's Saturday.
