Thanks for the link & the heads up about the yarn. My oldest Potter loving grandson (he's read them all multiple times - they're sort of like a favorite blankie I think) may enjoy the link (hard to tell sometimes he thinks I'm just weird when I show him something I find funny - fortunately his little brother has a much more highly developed sense of humor ;-0) & you've reminded me I promised him some HP socks. I have a few balls of the Opal colorways but the Sunshine Yarns look scrumptious. I see several colorways I love myself. Fortunately all the grands are crazy about hand knit socks - don't care a whole lot what color they are - just love the feel & the fact that I've made something for them. Seems to me that Wee reacts the same way to things you've made for her.

Thanks for telling us about the yarn. I bought one for each of my three Harry-Potter-loving children. One was home and got to pick his color: Hedwig. Now I just have to figure out what to make! I got worsted and sport weight...only one likes his hand-knit socks.
