sightings

For the second time in as many months a stranger has approached me during my normal 'pushing the kids around in the stroller' life and told me they recognize me from my blog. Okay, to be honest, they recognize the boys and then they recognize me. Still, pretty cool, huh? I guess I never thought about how many people in my area might happen upon my blog while surfing the net. But there are so many Boston-area knitbloggers, we could probably start a new hobby: blogger-spotting!

Also spotted this weekend:

I spy two kiddies wearing their fall vests. "Look ma, they still fit!"

And it's fall foliage time in New England, which of course means that the trees are losing their... buttons?!

awwwwww, the boys look adorable!
The trees may be losing their buttons, but my ribby finally has a zipper, is finished and there exists (an awful) picture on my blog....

That is so cool that people are recognizing you! You are famous! The boys look adorable! What is it about a slide that presents such a climbing challenge to them? You hardly ever see a kid sliding DOWN a slide!
Buttons???!! funny trees you have around your house! Pick em up quick! You can use those! ;)
By the way, I won't be able to knitsmith until NOVEMBER! danged life! getting in the way of my knitting enjoyment!

Of course, slides are used for walking up. Kids intuitively know that what goes down, must walk up. The vests still fit! Whee! If the fame gets to be too much, wear glasses. Or better yet, have the boys wear glasses. The Live Journal gals I met yesterday didn't recognize me because of my specs. "Oh, you're Kerstin!" (Ok, so the Halloween mask helps immensely, too.)

That's cool that you're recognized for your blog on the street! Your beautiful "productions" (knitting and boys) certainly deserve that attention!
