and more sewing

My new sew-as-you-go policy is great for getting my knitting projects finished in a timely fashion, but also means that I feel like I'm seaming all the time. I was hoping to have a little break from seaming until ava and the little giraffe toy were that far along, but then Michelle's gentle suggestion that I seam and weave in ends on the cardi raye while I wait for my yarn got me feeling guilty. Then, I saw that poor Jenn was suffering through the seeming on her cardi raye, and I didn't want her to have to suffer all alone. So here are the back, one sleeve, and one front panel sewn together with the ends all woven in.

And since Jenn showed her seams, here are mine!

Now, I've done just about everything I can do until the yarn comes and I can knit the other front panel. I'm being so good. I so deserve for the yarn to come today.

Wowsa. That sweater is going to be hot hot hot! That's a great idea about seaming as you go. I just knit everything in the round to avoid seams...I'm a bad learner... :)

Good for you for seaming as you go! I cannot stand seaming myself and look for as many shortcuts as I can.

You deserve that yarn to come in, and more. Talk about impeccable finishing! I bow to your seaming talents :-)

I would love a partner in crime (or seaming. You know, same thing really.) Your seams put me to shame though. Even all done up, my sweater looks a mess on the inside. I hope your yarn comes soon!

I bet you can hardly wait to wear it ! It looks fantastic.I would love one just like it,but I don't have your great figure,so all I can do is pout and admire yours. :0)

Lovely lovely seams, m'dear! They're so *seemly* ...And the sweater looks fabby without all the sparkle sh*t. :)

I am sending all the "yarn delivery" karma your way that I've got!
