the tea party
Wow, I actually finished a knitalong before it got started. That's a new experience for me!
Helene, are you going to make Miss Muffin so we have a hostess? :)
I have a ball of sombero I want to knit a tea cup/ mug out of. Do I qualify if I only knit one cup?
BTW, I started my lace cardi for the spring fling FINALLY- I didn't relize the yarn would take so long to get here. :-) It's looking good now, though, and I'm quite proud of it.
Ok, I'll better do that, so I guess I'm not finished after all...
I'm also buzy working on dominoknitted projects. I'm going to teach classes in domino knitting in october, and then I guess it's a good idea to try it out properly myself first =) So that's my first priority right now. It's a lot of fun!
Can I join if I already started the fiesta tea set? I have the creamer and sugar bowl and 2 more cups to do.
Me too, please! It will take a while for me to clear through the backlog, but I think it would be really cool to make a Fiesta Tea Set for my niece for Christmas, so please add me to the list!
P.S. Add me to the linen drape along, too? I found some for a steal - 10 balls for $45! So I'm going to make the short-sleeved ribbed lace sweater from Vintage Knits. It is so cute!
When I saw you working on the fiesta set last week, it inspired me. I bought the yarn last month and then forgot about it! I'm nearly finished with the first tea cup and I'd love to join in.
I'd love to join the t-party! Count me in, I am sure I have some yarn in my stash that will be just perfect for this project!
I just started a cup on Saturday. Like Melanie I remembered I bought the yarn for the project and forgot about it. Thanks for the reminder.
I'm glad the Burdas *finally* came! A German school-mate of mine in highschool sewed her clothes from the 'before' type pattern pages. I think that was about 10 years before they changed to the newer pages. I don't think I'd ever sew from those, but it's fun to look at!
How about a crocheted cupcake to go with the tea set??

And yes, please count me in for this knitalong. I just printed out the pattern today and can't wait to get started!
Wooo! I started mine this afternoon- finished the bottom. I'm going sort of free form on the top, I want a curvy pitcher. Can't wait to see how it comes out!
I'd like to join the tea party knit-along!
Count me in for the knitalong! I found some Willow-pattern colour yarn to use, planning to make a couple of teacups for sure.
Okay, sign me up. I haven't made my "I Can Sew Too" blouse yet (but I have the fabric sitting there looking at me everytime I walk by the sewing machine table. I love it.) I joined the six sox, lace along, and unofficially the Charlotte's Web knitalongs. None started. But I want that tea set, so add me to the list. Next week is my week. I will be recuperating and hopefully well enough to knit like crazy while healing. So I need another knit along. So there!
Oh yeah! I've been planning on making that pattern for my little cousin...So glad there is a knitalong. Count me in!
I'll join in too! Since I don't have 2's and my 3's are busy, I started a cup with thread and my 0000's! I don't know how it'll turn out, but it's going okay so far!
Does anyone know an idiot guide to the i-cord bind off? I chickened out on my first cup, but I want to do the second one right.
