caution: elves at work

Christmas is coming and the finishing basket is getting fat. The elves are busy finishing holiday presents (note to self: look into getting actual elves for next year's holiday knitting!). Today we peek into Santa's knitting factory to see what's in store for mom. So mom, that means stop reading now please.

It's mom's jess sweater! I haven't worked on this one in months. Here's where I left it: both sleeves done, front panels done and half of the back done. There's still a good bit of knitting to do, including a giant collar, and then some seaming and blocking. Will nineteen days be enough?

Yes! Nineteen days...totally do-able. Go! Go! Go!

Congrats on Leftovers! It looks awesome, can't wait to make it!

Love love love BOTH vests! (And I'm sure to think Mom's sweater's swell.) I enjoyed the peek inside your fridge ~ inspired photography! But surely you cleared the boys' artwork off the front for the pic? I especially appreciate this pattern since my climate is not always cold enough for the big sweaters ~

Ahhh... now I see... You made those Mini weasleys for the elves, didn't you?! lol. They're adorable.

Jess is looking great! Every now and then I have wondered when she would reappear but I had no idea you had already done so much, I am sure 19 days will be enough. I love your vests too.

Oh yes, in 19 days you can get it done, as fast as your hands fly. *I* could probably get it done in 19 days too, if that says anything...

The vests are so pretty. Very inspirational.

Good Luck with that. I think you can do it. =)
loved how you linked the image to the sweater.

That is the cutest thing ever -- "click on the present if you're not Mom." I love it. I'm going to have to do me some html-learning. My gift list is too long and I'm paring some things off it. Some of the recipients would rather have store-bought anyway, so I will oblige, I guess. I would like to put my name on the list for housecleaning elves and transcript-doing elves, though. *sigh*
