tuesday is knitalong day

All my sock knitting has really left me behind on my mini weasleys! I've got four girl ones to make and am only this far along.

But there are other mini-weasleys to show: Stacey is working on one, Lisa from Knitsmiths made a "J" one, and MA's made several.

In big weasley news, Eklectika has finished her first weasley! Like me, she's got two to make though. There's not much progress elsewhere this week. My two weasleys are on hold until I get the socks and the minis done (they've got to be sent out to relatives this week!). But Katie, who finished her weasley a while ago, has shared another pic with us: in this one, weasley meets Santa. Priceless.

And in other knitalong news, Anita's going to be hosting a Leftovers-along. How exciting!

:) I love knitalong days! I'm almost done! I had to re-do the sleeve length b/c I think I misunderstood the pattern. After reaching the final number of sts thru the increases on each end, I think I was supposed to *add on* 20 cm. Instead, I read it as the total sleeve was to measure 20cm and that canNOT be right! That would make the sleeves 11.5"! My nephew has 15" arms (he takes after my gorilla brother) and even though the sweater has a slightly dropped shoulder, I still think they would have been way too short. (BTW he was already telling my sister-in-law what he wants for his next sweater! She told him to let me finish this one first. Gotta love them kids ^_~ !
