I love you to pieces, part two

The thing about twins is, whenever one of them poops, the other won't be far behind (har, har). My point is, after cleaning up messes from one, I've learned to go ahead and check out the other.

So a while back, after rescuing one blankie from some near-fatal lovin', I decided to take a closer look at blankie number two.

Just as I suspected. The cast on edge was all but completely rubbed away, and stitches had begun to fall. I had to put a brief hold on the holiday knitting until this was taken care of! And the other day, I find another stitch making a run for it. A mother's work is never done.

But oh the joys.

The joys indeed! I don't clean up poop anymore, but there's plenty of STUFF they leave around! :)
Happy New Year!

I graduated from cleaning baby poop to scooping cat poop. The joys indeed! Love the pic of the boys sledding. I made a hundred trips up and down the bunny hill with Liv on skiis last Thursday. We managed to giggle our way down the hill every single time. I found that if I held her left hand and kept her body close to mine -- steering her as necessary, we could make it all the way down on without stopping. Fun! Happy New Year back at ya lady!

Oh the joys of cleaning up poop. Just when I think I'm done.....they puuullllllll me back in! :)

And..is that a look of terror I see from the back of the sled? LOL!

Oh Carla those are smiles of pure joy. They LOVED the sledding! This is a huge improvement over last year, when they reacted this way to the first big snow.

A good reason to hang on to scraps from old projects - you can redo the last row and cast-off edge (or first row and cast on edge) years later. What a great sledding picture!

Love the photo - their joy is contagious!

Is there some rule that states twins must poop together? Mine certainly are following suit. The great fun around here is trying to clean one while fending off the other one reaching for the wipes box or grabbing the diaper, while keeping the changee in place.

Happy new year!

I just started reading your blog and really enjoy it, especially since you are the mother of two (like me) and still have time for knitting! My son's name is Benny, too (short for Benjamin.) Thanks for the inspiration!

What cuties! And how lucky they are to have a mommy who will repair the hand knits.

Happy New Year!

So cute! Sledding looks like fun, I haven't seen snow (in person) since I was in Sweden 10 or so years ago. So are you going to make another whole new blankie?

Wow, repaired blankies and sledding time! How good can life get? :-)

Your sledding photo is awesome. How happy am I that my twins potty trained in like two weeks. My son, however is another matter. I can't imagine having two like him, in that respect! How much longer will it be?? (whine, whine) Send some snow our way, Chicago has squat! It's actually raining right now.
