model tee

My store model nothing but a t-shirt is underway!

Is it okay to say how very much I'm enjoying knitting another one of these? This new blue shade of Calmer is really cool - sometimes it's positively purple looking and then other times it appears to be a true baby blue. Very neat color. How did my LYS know that I'd like the blue? Wink, wink.

Hee hee... "Model Tee." I love it. I'm thinking about making NBATS, but with 3/4 length sleeves. Should be uber-cute!

Love the color--aren't you tempted to keep it for yourself?

Do you know the name of that colour? I love it!

BTW: my T-shirt is going great guns at the moment, even with the mods I've had to do to accommodate my weird shape!

I love that color too! Where is the pattern for that? I have been looking for just a nice knitted T-shirt for the summmer!

Of course you're enjoying it. It's a great pattern. That color is pretty. And everyone raves about calmer in general.

The NBATS is at Magknits. I keep on wanting to make one, but I am trying to find a yarn that isn't quite as expensive as Calmer (though touching Calmer was a very nice experience).

Alison...

Is that shade tinker bell or lucky? I started chicago out of the newest rowan with the 3000 + beads... maybe i can post about it.. haha..

i'm knitting it in powder puff calmer

I have 10 balls of bulky fixation with me. They came together with a pattern but I don't really like it. I am thinking I would swatch to see if I can use them for NBATS.

hey! That's the same color as mine! ^_~

How are you liking the Calmer? I read on someone else's blog that she wasn't pleased with it.

I am enjoying knitting up NBT, too. Love your color of blue!!

Ooh Rachele and Agnes, cool ideas!

Dani, the pattern is my own pattern, published in the Feb. edition of Magknits. Here's a link for you:
http://www.magknits.com/warm05/patterns/shirt.htm

The color I've got is Tinkerbell, #475.

Christine, who says they don't like Calmer?! Treason! Slander! ;0) Na, I suppose, to each his own, although I can't figure out what's not to love about the yarn.

Sigh. I could knit in Calmer for days and days and... you get the point. Hm, now that Florence is finished, I suppose I should pull out my ponchette. However, I am seriously thinking of unravelling her for another project, since I can't get up the gumption to put on my winter poncho for any reason, no matter how pretty she is.

what ever happened to the fry-up?
i've been out of town and was wondering if you ever finished it?

love the color of the shirt by the way.

Very lush color.. although I like the sock colorway too. A simple tee in your favorite color will end up getting lots more wear than some fashion monstrosity from Vogue Knitting.
