My beautiful lacey koigu socks arrived from Debra at the weekend! they're gorgeous (i'm wearing them (again) today). Hope the socks I knitted get to my pal soon! Thanks once more fr all your hard work and organisation Alison!

for those of us who are still waiting for our socks and haven't heard from our sock pal yet, can you give us some direction? how long should we wait? is it possible for you to ask them to contact us? i don't mind waiting (knitting on a deadline can be tough!) but i'd love to know that they're out there somewhere :)

I love the socks I received, and I've been wearing them a lot. There'll be a picture on my blog next time I update, probably on Monday.

I'm getting a bit worried if my socks got to the recipient: I sent the socks over a week ago and there's still no word from my sock pal. I hope the socks haven't been lost in the mail! (Thought I still do have yarn to knit another pair if need be.)

My socks have been done and sent to Jody. I received my socks from Amy as well. Unfortunately they don't fit, so I have passed them on to my daughter who is very happy with her new socks!

This is the wrong knit-along to post to, but I'm also making progress with Weasley. I've finished the front, back, and neck, and am now 10cm into the sleeves. :) (Progress reported in several not-so-exciting posts.)

My socks were mailed out on the 16th - haven't heard how my pal liked them. I haven't received my socks yet. Was e-mailed they would be 2 weeks late - knitting was curtailed by an injury.

My gorgeous socks arrived on Friday from Katie. Plus I mailed out my socks to my pal last Tuesday (and dropped her a note regarding when UPS says they should be delivered....which is today, I hope!).

I just wanted to send a big thank you to my sock pal for the beautiful socks that I received. Thanks Peggy from Alaska! I cannot believe that you are classified as a beginner as these socks are perfect! I love the little cables running up the sides. I need to get a blog just so I can show them off ;)

I rec'd my socks from PJ last week and they are gorgeous! I just keep forgetting to take photos of them because they're constantly on my feet. *grin*

I too would like to echo Jody's sentiment. I have yet to hear from my pal and would like to know what's going on with them? If they're a little late that's fine, I'd just like to kno. I don't want to miss out on the fun and excitment of receiving my socks in the mail with everyone else for a second time. Thanks!

Oh. My. Gosh. I got my socks from Namita last week and they are so pretty. And warm. Namita is one good knitter! I am wearing them at night w/ my wolly clogs to keep my feet toasty. Thanks Namita and thanks Alison for putting this together

Katherine received her socks on September 26, which was nothing short of a miracle as the post office said no sooner than the 30th! I am thrilled that they fit and she loved them! It is as much fun to be a sender as a receiver! Thank you Alison, this has been a really great experience. If we do it again, count me in!

I heard from my sock pal that she had sent my socks out a bit late. So I will let you know once I receive them.
My socks to my pal were sent out on time and I have yet to hear that she rec'd them, although that Cdn/US postal service does really suck!!! I am sure hoping that she gets them this week...so here I sit waiting anxiously for both socks for me and an email saying she got them and that they fit!!!

My socks were mailed out last week, but I don't think they've arrived yet (no post yet, anyway), but they were going overseas so it's too early to worry.

I received my socks from my pal Carola last week as well and posted pictures on my blog - I love them! Thanks Carola, they're fabulous!

I received my socks today, and they are Fabulous! Anna did a beautiful job designing and knitting, and I can't wait to wear them -- I may just have to crank down the air conditioner and wear them around the house until fall arrives!

I recieved my socks from Katie and they are gorgeous. I love them sooooooo much. I am having to fight to keep them away from my sock stealing daughter. I saw on Joans blog that she recieved the socks I sent her too.

I've been tracking the package on UPS and they're still 'In Transit', but at least this way I'll know when she gets them.

Thanks to Nicole from Idaho for making some beautiful ribbed socks for me with Lorna's Laces! I don't think she ever posted pics on her blog, but they're up on mine now.

My pal Margene received her socks and they fit! Whew!
I'm still waiting by my doorstep but since I included my measurements in cm. as well as inches maybe they're coming from overseas.

Received my wonderfully crazy colorful socks from my pal Christina and they fit perfectly. I mailed my socks to my pal Michele before I left for Germany in August ( I was in Berlin, too !) and I hope she got them. I posted on the day I got my socks, but since this is the Tuesday post-thot I'd confirm. I got 2 (yes 2, don't I feel special) pair of beautiful socks from Karen. I put a comment on her blog (I think) & sent her a thank you card. I mailed my socks to Brooke on the 14th (ya see, I am anal....), have emailed her twice, put several posts here & have yet to hear from her! It's killing me. Especially since all I had was her shoe size...no measurements. I really really hope they fit. Not sure if I will do this for a while...too nerve wracking...don't want to do the work & not be sure they fit or that they even get them..

I sent out my socks to Priscilla Meredith on Sat 17 sept. She hasn't mentioned receiving them on her blog/neither has she contacted me - so I am not sure what to do. I guess she either hasn't got them yet - or doesn't like them/don't fit. Should I assume no news is good news or should I contact her to check that she has actually got them? Thanks - a newbie to all of this.
PS I received my socks several weeks ago from Jacqueline in the UK. I love them, the are so bright and fun. Thank you so much for oranizing this.

I got my notification from UPS that the socks I sent to Gina in Canada were delivered today. So I am crossing my fingers that they fit!

I posted a picture on my blog after I recieved my socks, but in case my sock pal hasn't read the post, I wanted Betsy to know that I got the beautiful Malmuke socks she knitted for me. I got my amazing socks (plus several other lovely things) from Tania of knit1frog2 yesterday. These socks make me want to kneel down and whimper that I'm not worthy! So soft, so gorgeous, so yummy. Yay!

I got my socks from my sockpal Tammy on Wednesday! They are beautiful and fit perfectly, and Tammy generously included some other Canadian yarns for me to knit with as well and some gorgeous stitch markers!! What a great sockpal. Can't wait to participate again if you do a 3rd sockapalooza!
