Kinda looks like I'm making a scarf this way, doesn't it? It's just a pair of socks though.

Very cool striping! But can you imagine converting Hermione's hat/mitten patterns as sock ones? Hmmm... Must get out the graph paper...
=:8
They are great! I love the whole Harry Potter theme. I had no idea there was actual yarn for knitting Weasely stuff.
Those socks are always lovely :)
That colorway is just beautiful. I really like how the yellow stands out, but the orange-reds sort of shift subtly as well. It's really complex but appealing in a straightforward way, too.
Obviously, this is not an uncommon reaction: the color striping is beautiful! I love the shades of red offset by the yellow. Kimberly's idea of hat and mittens is great.
I'm not even a big HP fan but those socks are just too cool! (Especially since you get such nice even stripes without ever changing yarns!) Also thank you for the sweet comment on my blog - maybe next time I'll get up the nerve to actually say something. ;)
They are exceedingly cute! What great yarn.
I'm totally going to have to get some of that.
Love it! I'm making Hufflepuff socks with Dani's yarn and it is a little finer gauge than I am used to as well... but so worth it for HP socks!
I still don't understand how they get the yarn to actually work and stripe. I'm in awe! Good work too!
Love them! After much pining away, I was FINALLY able to score some of that yarn a few weeks ago. I can't WAIT to start on mine.
mmm....I have that yarn, but having a heck of a time getting gauge. What size needles are yuo using, and at what guage?
Those are so cool! I used Regia Nation to get some pseudo-year 1 Gryffindor socks. Yours are better!
