A big thank you to my friend Lisa who insisted that I knit some more of my crinkle cardi. I love knitting this project. It just makes me so happy. It's the pretty color and the pretty eyelets and there's also the fact that I'm not substituting yarn or adjusting the numbers for once. Even with the 8 row pattern repeat and the 12th row increases and forgetting how it all fits together after not having worked on it for so long, I am thoroughly enjoying every stitch.
It's still pouring down rain here, but I'm positively delighted to stay inside today and work on sleeve number two. Good times.

I love it too -- you're definitely doing the pattern and yarn justice, for sure. Can't wait to see it all finished.
Very pretty!
Sorry about the rain - it is threatening here, too.
Exactly the reasons I am gonna make this. Knit on, babe.
What yarn is this? It does look delightful.
This is going to be an absolutely gorgeous cardi. How refreshing to read "...I'm positively delighted to stay inside today and work on sleeve number two" instead of things like "I'm stuck on sleeve island." Your positivity is inspiring.
Oh my! I love that pattern.
It is such a happy pretty color.
Amanda :)
I love it when projects are going so well like that, when everything just works out and falls into place. It looks brilliant!
Love the design (how you just whipped this, I'll never know).

Rainy Here for 3 Days Too (Just outside of Chgo)
It is really a cute pattern, enjoy it! In Monterrey, Mexico, we had a little rain for some days after over 40°C temperature (i'm not sure how much that is in F, but it is a LOT) and now we are back with the warmth. I'd take some more rain, really.
Lovely, lovely pattern and darling color. Have a great time wearing it when it's done--which should be soon!
Wow, it is *so* pretty. I'm inspired to get working on a cardi that's been in the stash a long long time. :)
Alison, i wish i could send up the sun and clear skies to you from NYC.. it is just scrumptious.. enjoy the sweater it is so cute.. :-) Karola
What yarn is that? It's pretty. By the way, I sent off a little something to you on Friday.
it's just beautiful! The color is just gorgeous and I adore that pattern! Can't wait to see it finished and you wearing it!
Perfect thing to be knitting on a rainy day. Ahhh...
That texture is really appealing. I don't even know if it's my style, but it looks fun to knit for its own sake.
It does look like a happy piece of knitting! Youve inspired me to knit it!!!hmmm:))
I understand why it makes you happy. It's...wow !
Hello!
Really nice pattern!
Where can I learn how to knit it?
Regards from Sweden
This project is Crinkle from the latest Rowan mag (#39) and the yarn is cotton glace in the same color as in the pattern. (By the way, I always put pattern and yarn info in the archive page for that project. The archive link is down by the timestamp at the bottom of the post.)
Oh and I'm not actually that far along. I started with the sleeves (don't ask why - I have no idea). So I've still got the back, the fronts, and the second sleeve to knit!
I love the cardigan, I have been thinking about that same pattern. It looks even better than in the magazine! Glad to hear you are enjoying it. And there's more rain until Thursday :(
Looks great so far! Can't wait to see the finished product! =)
