we've broken the internet

Well, we're offline at least. After about a two-hour power outage, our internet connection has not come back up. Our internet service provider says they'll come by "sometime tomorrow" to look at the "problem", but if it's our fault, we'll have to pay. Riiiight, we broke it.
So I'm imposing on some nice neighbors with an unsecured wireless network to say hi and apologize to all those to whom I owe emails and correspondence, and then I'll just fade away back into the dark ages of pre-internet life.
See you on Wednesday, I hope.

Hope the sad mac feels happy again soon...see you on Wednesday.
Just read the Feb. 3rd post about the children's hat in LMKG, but couldn't figure out how to post comment three. Am on row [k5, k2tog] and will be frogging back to correct the eyelet miscount. Argh. At least I found out now. I really appreciate your corrections to the book. Thanks ever so.
My Tuesday will not be the same (I check your site first thing every morning w/coffee before the kiddies start fighting). Look forward to your next posting!
I'm sure they already had you do this, but have you tried:
1. Unplug all networking equipment (including computers, modem, and router if applicable)
2. Plug in modem
3. Plug in router (if applicable)
4. Turn on computer
The modem often gets a bit loopy when there's a power outage.
My sympathies. They think we're all unintelligent primates.
oooo... you have been noted on "You knit what?!" But alas, don't worry.. it was the incredible cuteness that was the thing one thing two shirts.... http://youknitwhat.blogspot.com/
There must be something in the air. Blogger was up and down all day Monday. Here's hoping today, 06-06-06, will bode better. Wouldn't surprise me, though, if someone created a virus or worm that gets unleashed today.
Your boys look too cute on "You Knit What?"!!
sigh, I was going to make sure that you knew your boys were on you knit what.. but I see I have not been the first to note this. I hope that you note what you think of this later.
Saw your boys on YKW and they are adorable, as were their Seuss shirts. (My husband still loves his Legos.) So I found my way to your blog and I love all of your patterns. First site where I've really liked every single one. Also nice to know that even experienced knitters have to frog and sometimes give up on a pattern. Maybe there's still hope for me. Keep up the great work.
