I've just started teaching a new sock class at the store and since I needed a sock to start along with my students, I picked up my still packed swim cap bag and pulled out the retro prep yarn I dyed for my dye swap pal and myself.
Wow, I can't believe that I made that. Too cool.

Super-duper too cool! Great job. I'd swear that you had three different balls of yarn going if you hadn't told us otherwise. Yeah!
I love the colors. You did an awesome job.
ummm...how do i get that fabulous yarn? :)
Beautiful colors. That is going to be a great pair of socks.
What a beautiful colorway, is it called watermelon? ;)
That really came out awesome Alison! Have you not knit up a swatch before now?? So fun!
I'm in love! That colorway is so beautiful!
that turned out really great! I just hope you have an IZOD shirt to go with them. :)
Ya...that's how I feel when I knit yarn I've dyed myself. I really like yours, too.
That is beautiful. I can't believe you dyed that yourself. I want that yarn!
Wow de wow wow! I love it!
It's so professional-looking! Great job!
Yes, that is fabulous! Very cool that you made that. Our daughter would love it, as we just painted her room those colors upon her request.
You did an awesome job on those stripes! And of course the colors are just too fun :)
I LOVE IT. The only thing better than socks from that yarn would be knee socks from that yarn.
WOW. Even better than I thought!
Perfect color for summer, watermelons!
Oh I love green and pink!!
that is SO awesome!! way to go!
wow, that looks great! I dyed up some pink-and-yellow striping yarn a little while ago and it's made me want to start something with it. =)
Uuh, you wouldn't happen to have kept the directions on how you did that would you???
Share please if possible???
That is really cool - reminds me of watermelon.
Wow, that is really amazing. Great job.
You dyed that? What a great job!
That is an amazingly crisp colour division, especially for a hand-dye! It came out perfectly. Kudos to you for a beautiful job--and in the perfect prep pattern/colours! Those socks just beg for an alligator shirt.
WOW great dye job!! I love the colors---great definition!
Super fabulous socks! I feel like they should have a little polo player embroidered on the cuff... Great dye job!
You are The Amazing Fluffa!!!
That is the cutest yarn ever!!!
Hey...sorry about that....I just got back from a trip and I was making my blog rounds and I got your site mixed up with dear Fluffa's...
You are the Amazing Alison!
It's still the cutest yarn ever :o)
Donna-the space cadet
The striping is fantastic! Kudos! :-)
Gorgeous yarn! Love the colors - I'm partial to green anyways. I still think it's so cool how self-striping yarn works. Especially hand-dyed that comes out looking that awesome!
That is too cool, man!!! Now all you need is a preppy alligator on it! LOL
Hugz!
Ditto knitting nurse up there. If you posted how you did that on your blog somewhere, I missed it! I LOVE that yarn.
That yarn is too cool for words! I love it!
I am in love with that yarn. If you ever decide to make & sell some, put me on the list - I'd love to make a baby hat & sweater for my granddaughter who will be born in about 3 months.
Ummmmm....How could you possibly have dyed that yarn so perfectly!?!?
What is your secret?
I am totally blown away by the perfection of those stripes.
Is there something I am missing?
I have 2 new skeins to dye so if there is something you could share with me I would love to know.
The stripes sure are coming out fab.
Gorgeous colorway! Reminds me a bit of watermelon! Can't wait to see it finished!
I LOVE the colors! They're so bright and lively!
WOW! You are a natural at the dyepot! I'd pay $$$ for yarn like that. Not kidding!
Amazing--and the knitting is perfect too!
Cool-and I like the stripe in the ribbing.
The dyeing came out very nicely, the stripes are cool!
Wow! I love the white outline on the pink. That is ace!
